“What on earth were you thinking?" Liana scolded her daughter. Accalia shrunk back from her mother's gaze.
“You disobeyed your brother, your Alpha, you snuck in a criminal to a hospital and even helped her feed a dangerous substance to a sick child! What do you have to say for yourself?" Liana shouted.
“Rain isn't a criminal!" Accalia protested, defiant even under the guise of her mother's harsh glare. “She didn't hurt him. I know she-"
“Accalia!" Orion snapped, stepping in. “Go home."
“But-"
Orion sent her a menacing glare. Accalia looked at her brother and with her head down, she scurried away.
