Chapter Six- I Hate You

916 Words
Without giving her warning, he thrust in. Lena was welcomed by pain. “Ahhhh!!! It hurts, please… be gentle.” The word gentle wasn’t in his dictionary. Lena didn’t know what to feel. Calling herself a slut was definitely an understatement. After he was done having her, she stood up, limped to where the lingerie were, wore it, and went back to her room. Returning to her room, she curled herself up and cried until she fell asleep on the floor. Knock Knock Knock “Miss Lena, the dinner is ready.” Lena was woken up by the knock. “I’m not hungry, thanks,” she said with a hoarse voice. She was really hurt, and eating was definitely not on her list. Clarissa went back to report to Damian. “She isn’t coming down for dinner, sir.” “You can go.” Damian couldn’t care less. It was her choice, and he wasn’t interfering. After interrupting her sleep, Lena mustered the strength to go shower. After she was done showering, she changed into one of the clothes in the wardrobe. She laid down on the floor and slept off immediately, out of fatigue. It was past twelve noon the next day when the butler knocked on her door. She was starting to get worried. She hadn’t eaten anything since yesterday night, and it was already noon. Knocking for what felt like eternity, Clarissa ordered one of the bodyguards to break the door since it was locked from inside and the spare key was with Damian, who was at work. Bang!! With a bang, the door opened, and they saw Lena lying on the floor. Clarissa rushed to her. “Hey! Hey! Are you there? Can you hear me?” No response. Clarissa checked her temperature with her hands. She was burning. “Call the doctor now!” she ordered. The doctor checked her before placing her on IV fluids. “She’s going through traumatic shock. She needs to eat healthy and also regulate her emotions.” After prescribing some medicine, the doctor left. “Good evening, sir.” “What happened?” Damian asked. “She fainted, but the doctor already checked her.” “Is she awake?” “No, sir.” “Okay.” Damian heard about the situation after finishing a meeting with one of the companies wanting to sign a deal with him. He was one of the most renowned and successful businessmen, known for his defensiveness, sharp tongue, and ideas, making him known across the world. A businessman by day, a mafia beast by night. “When she wakes up, let me know.” “Hello, Kairo. Meet me at the basement.” “Okay, sir.” “How is the shipment going?” “Everything is set. Once they land on our soil, we will capture them.” Damian was ruthless and calculating. “I want to know what my brother is up to. He’s been quiet for too long.” “Sure. I heard Miss Clara is back in the country.” “That has nothing to do with me. Don’t let her see me if she asks.” “Sure.” His phone buzzed. “You can go.” “Sure.” “Speak.” “She’s awake.” “Okay.” Damian barged into her room without knocking and found Lena eating fruits. He stared at her silently. He sat on the edge of the bed. Lena cowered back in fear. “It’s good you still fear me. Get sick as much as you want, but you’re not allowed to die until I say so.” “I’m in a great mood. Ask me something, and I might do it.” “Really?” “I don’t lie.” “Can I at least go to school?” “No.” “Why raise my hopes then?” “Humans are delusional. You are sold to me. Know your place.” Damian stood up to leave. “I hate you!! You’re a monster!!!” Lena yelled. “Good. Don’t expect anything good from monsters.” “I’ll give you today to recover. Tomorrow, you resume your duty in my bed.” He left without looking back. “God, what sin did I commit in my previous life?” She forced herself to eat. The next morning, Lena felt a bit energized and decided to help with cooking. “Good morning, ma,” Lena greeted Clarissa. “Good morning, Miss. What can I help you with?” “I just wanted to help cook.” “I’ll politely decline. Damian doesn’t eat food made by anyone aside from me. I raised him.” “You raised him?” “Yes.” “That’s scary.” “He’s not that bad. He just has a different understanding of life.” “That doesn’t justify him.” Lena turned to leave and bumped into someone. She looked up into stone-cold eyes. “G-good morning,” she stammered. “Did seeing my face ruin your mood?” Damian asked. “I’m sorry, it wasn’t like that.” “I like ruining people’s mood.” He leaned in and whispered, “Be ready. When I’m back, serve me well. And keep your voice in check.” “Coffee, please.” “Sure.” “Morning. I’m off to work.” Lena watched him leave. She was barely twenty, broken, confused, and trapped. “Please save me, Lord,” she whispered.
