Niccolo
That filgo di puttana.
(Son of a b***h)
I storm out of the house, into the garage.
I take the Ferrari and race to my cousin. That b***h is dead.
I race to his house, damn near bursting the door down. He's waiting for me.
“After five years, cugino.”
“You bastard," I sneer, taking a swing at him.
He lick his swollen lip, smirking at me. “So touchy about her already?”
“You've been trailing me? Trailing her?”
“Od course, I'm worried about you, even if you don't speak to me."
I scoff. “Luciano, you take things too far!”
“I'm merely curious about this woman, you can't seem to leave alone. This woman who makes you turn your back on me. She's a criminal investigator. Practically a cop—”
“What i do with her is not your concern—”
“Oh but it is. You are my flesh and blood. What you do is my concern. She's dangerous—”
“Maybe I like danger,” I smirk.
He eyes me cautiously. “Be that as it may. Liking danger and sleeping with it is two different things.”
Anger burns hot in my veins. “I slept with her, so what? I slept with her, and I'm gonna keep sleeping with her, until I don't want any more.”
He smirks at me. “You know what you sound like? A rebellious teenager, determined to do just the opposite of what his father tells him.”
“You're not my father Luciano. That woman has nothing to do with you. What I do with or to that woman has nothing to do with you.”
“Still," He sets a cup in front of me, taking the chair in front of me, “Color me curious. What about her keeps you so enamoured with her?”
I calm down. I answer his question.
“She's...I don't know. She's good in bed for one," I muse, remembering last night. “You know, she has a nerve to demand I kiss her every time I leave?”
I smile at the thought.
“Do you do it?”
“f**k yeah.”
He nods silently. “She's dangerous, but you like it that way? It's what keeps you so interested in her?”
I nod, sipping the tea he gave me.
“I love it. She's staying with me for now.”
“Then you know?”
I.smirk. “Of course I know. Could I call myself a Mob Boss if I didn't?”
He chuckled.
“I'll stop tailing you,” He states. “But do me a favor. Bring her to the auction. Introduce her to me."
I grit my teeth. “Fine.”
I get up. I left my little trouble maker in bed alone. She'll start harassing the staff if I don't get back soon.
“Niccoló,” he calls out to me. I turn around wait for him to say what he wants to say.
“I know it may seem far fetched, but...you still are and always will be my cousin. Don or not, I'll do my best to look out for you.”
I roll my eyes good naturedly. “Your wife has made you sappy, cugino.”
I leave, smiling. It's not until I get in my car that I realize that was the first normal conversation I'd had with my cousin for five years.

When I get back to house she's waiting for me in my bed.
“You were gone for an hour,” she informs me with a playful pout. “I was lonely.”
I smirk. “Let's play, pulcino."
She spreads her legs wide. “Sounds like fun,”
