Mr. Hawk, Years Ago (PART III) It took at least half an hour before Mr. Hawk eventually cleared his throat, but did not say anything for another half hour. He simply stared at Nina's gritted teeth as she narrowed her eyes at Mike. He had noticed a few discreet glares she attempted to conceal, overshadow her eyes at a few points during their marriage when she stared at Mike, and there was always a bit of lack of care whenever Mike was mentioned.
