It was a gloomy day in London and Lily was holding a sleeping child. The child was called Elizabeth Paige. Lily didn't have enough time left to see her only daughter grow up to be a powerful witch but enough time to see the beautiful daughter before her.
Lily's ex-husband was a Muggle who had a bomb shelter in his garden. She knew that her dead boyfriend was a werewolf and they loved each other but as soon as he heard that she was pregnant, he left to join a werewolf pack but got killed by Fenrir Grayback for breading. Elizabeth (Libby) was given her mother's last name because Libby's father is dead and her ex-husband is a muggle with the last name Dower.
Her light was fading and healers were rushing into the room to try anything but they couldn't. She died on November 15th, 1969. Libby started balling her eyes out and the healers tried everything they could to calm her down but a six-year-old boy peeped his head through the gap in the door. He thought his mum was sleeping and not anything else.
A healer spotted him and took both Elizabeth and Luke through the Floo Network to their home in Leicester. Jeff Dower was sitting in the living room, drinking a cup of tea while reading the newspaper when all of a sudden, the fireplace lit up with green flames, making Jeff jump.
Three people stood in the fireplace, two of them latched onto the witch in green clothing. "Mr Dower?" Jeff looked up to see them and Luke ran over to him, wrapping his arms around his neck. "I'm sorry to say this, but Lily Paige died just an hour after giving birth to her daughter, Elizabeth Paige. She said that if she didn't make it, she'd want you to look after her."
The healer handed the sleeping child over to Jeff and he started cradling her. "She looks just like her mum." He choaked. "I'll take good care of her, I promise." The healer nodded and disapparated because there was no Floo powder insight.
A few years later, April 17th, 1973, at 2:50 pm, Jeff and Libby were having a picnic in the park. Libby had one blue eye and one brown eye with light brown hair resting on her shoulders with olive skin that glowed in the sunlight. She heard some cracks and snaps and went to investigate. From the trees came a huge dog. No, not a dog, a wolf leaping on its hind legs towards her. Libby started crying while running as fast as she could to Jeff but the werewolf was faster.
Jeff turned to face the direction of Libby crying but when he looked, he saw a huge beast devouring her shoulder. "NO!" He got to his feet as Libby let out screams of pain echoing all over the park. The werewolf looked up and ran into the woods as Libby dropped to the floor with blood dripping down her front and began staining her top.
Jeff seized the picnic blanket and wrapped it tightly as he could around her shoulder. He picked her up and ran over the road to get to his house. He cleared the kitchen table, laid Libby on it, rummaged through the medicine cabinet to find a potion Lily left there and said that she doesn't want him to throw it away and keep it safe in the house. He took the cork off and read the instructions on how to use the potion of powdered silver and dittany.
He put drops of the potion on every teeth mark that was pooling out with blood. Libby's face was drowned in sweat, tears, and specks of blood. "Stay still, I'll be back with your brother." Jeff went back outside with his car keys. He picked up everything from the picnic and put them in the car and drove to the primary school Luke was at.
As he was driving home from the school with Luke in the backseat, Luke was eager to know why his dad was stressed enough to have an extreme burst of road rage. "HURRY THE f**k UP YA t**t!! THIS ISN'T EVEN A BUSY ROAD!! WHY ARE YOU SO SLOW?!"Jeff screamed at the drivers around him and it scared Luke a bit. He looked into his father's mind to see Libby laying on the table with her shoulder covered in blood.
When they got inside, Libby was sleeping with a scrunched up face and Jeff wrapped bandages around her shoulder so the dittany can do its work and put her arm in a sling.
As years passed, people bothered Libby about all her scars that sprouted on her skin once a month but sometimes twice a month. "How'd you get this cut?" One kid asked while jabbing at the scar making Libby wince because they always hurt if they're directly touched by someone as it was a new one.
"None of your business." She wafted his hand away and continued on with her work.
One day Libby was drawn to the side by a teacher. "Do you have trouble at home with Mr Dower?" The teacher asked her and Libby shook her head. "Are you sure?"
"Nowt is going on at home." She replied and felt her whole body go cold. Her skin paled and her stomach growled. She whipped out her notebook which showed that it was April 7th, 1978, the Solar Eclipse and Solar Eclipses made her hungry for only meat. She pocketed the notebook and looked up at the teacher.
"Are you okay?" Libby nodded her head. "What was that notebook for?"
"Eh?"
"Empty your pockets." She emptied her pockets only to show the notebook with the days of the week, days of the months, the months of the years and the years of the decade with the time in hours, minutes and seconds. "What're these dates for?"
"They just tell me when I have to go to a meeting."
"You're never here on these days and the day before and after those days."
"Because the person says I had to let my mind rest for a day and a day after for the things to work." She lied so no one knew what was going on during the days of full moons.
"Go back and enjoy the rest of the lesson."
Years later in July, an owl started tapping on the window and Luke went to fetch it. He looked at the letters and dropped one in front of Libby. "Open it," Luke told her with a smile. She did as she was told and read it. He read his own while sneaking glances at Libby.

"What's she reading?" Jeff asked as he sat at the table while reading the newspaper.
"She got her letter to attend Hogwarts," Luke replied and hugged Libby from behind.
"Wouldn't they've made her go to a different school? Or no school at all?"
"Most werewolves don't bother with getting an education. I talked to Dumbledore about it and he said that he has a place for her to transform while she's there."
"Okay. Fine. That doesn't mean that I'm driving you up London to get your shit."
"I have a way to get us both there without using muggle transport." Luke ran upstairs and got a sheet parchment for Libby to write on about going to Hogwarts. He passed the sheet over to Jeff to write his signature and say that he agrees for her to go.
They waited until the full moon had passed to know that they were safe for Libby to walk around Diagon Ally without getting pains from the full moon. When they were there, they got all of their school supplies and Luke got more owl treats and Floo Powder. As they walked around, Luke talked to some of his friends and introduced Libby to them but she got shy and antisocial so she just hid behind Luke. Come on, they won't bite. His mind said and she gave him a cold glare. "They won't but I do." She replied.
"Luke, if you can read our minds and she can read yours then why can't you read hers?"
"Her minds complicated. Hard to get around. When I look into it, all I see is nothing." He replied. "It's like how I can't see Snapes, Dumbledores and some of the other Defence Against the Dark Arts teachers minds. Probably came from her dad."
"I've never seen him, so how would I know?" She replied. Why is she better-looking than you, Luke? One of his friends thought and Libby started laughing. "I'm not 'better-looking', I'm ugly."
You look like mum. Luke said to her privately. "And you look like Jeff." She replied.
"How come I never saw your mum pick you up from Kings Cross? Or anyone for that matter?" His friend asked randomly.
"My dad said that I have to Floo home because we live far from here and he doesn't want to waste money on diesel for his lorry to drive here and back twice," Luke told them. "I think we need to get Liw here home before she starts breaking a limb from carrying things." Luke laughed and waved his friends' goodbye.
He shrunk most of their things so they wouldn't get lost while going through the Network to Leicester. When they got back home, Luke and Libby went upstairs to unpack and regrow the things back to their normal size. They started backing things into their trunks so they knew where everything was it came to the time to leave to platform nine and three quarters.
They enjoyed the rest of august until it was the day before the full moon and things changed.
"I knew from the moment you came here, you were going to be different than your half-brother! Leaving to go into the bomb shelter once a month to protect the truth of this family that you're a beast and a freak down to the f*****g core! You're going to be happy at that school for freaks and you're not going to write to me saying you want to leave because they're saying that they hate werewolves because that's what they think!"
Jeff clutched a fistful of her hair and hauled her into the cold night. The wind was howling outside and biting at their skin. The moon was absorbing a lot of energy from Libby, making her feel as though she was going to sprout fur at that very moment.
They got to the bomb shelter, he shoved her in and Libby fell in there with a thud as Jeff descended the ladder, shutting the trap door in the process. Jeff jumped off the ladder and landed with his feet either side of her. "I knew I was able to use these one day," Jeff muttered as he made his way over to a cupboard where a ball and chain, rope, handcuffs and a box of pills were.
I was going to use these on her mum but because she's dead and Liw looks like Lily but scarred, she'll get it instead. Jeff thought and Libby stared wide-eyed at the floor.
He took one of the pills and swallowed it without drinking water. He walked over to Libby and started ripping her clothes off her scarred body. She wriggled about to stop him from grabbing her clothes but because the full moon was only a day away, it was sending jolts of pain up her spine so it was easy for Jeff to take them.
He took the handcuffs and handcuffed her to a bar that was attached to the wall that Libby used to help pull herself up before and after the full moon nights. Jeff started stripping himself, got the ball and chain and fastened it to her mouth, around her head. Jeff lay on top of Libby and clasped her ankles together on his back so her legs wrapped around his naked body.
Throughout the night in the bomb shelter, cracks and pops of bones echoed in the area. In his bedroom, Luke was staring wide-eyed at his ceiling, unable to unhear the cracking outside. He was shaking with fury and knew that he won't be able to sleep until he got some answers on what to do. He glared out his windows and saw a naked neck and back that were scarred.
Luke was livid. He couldn't believe that her dad was raping his younger half-sister for being an unregistered werewolf and a witch. He himself was a wizard but his father was a muggle. It was the only thing he needed to see. He needed to write to Hogwarts. He made his way over to his desk, got out a quill, ink pot, parchment, envelope, turned on his desk lamp and started writing.
Dear Professor McGonagall,
I know it seems absurd for a student to send owls to their Head of House but it's crucial that you fully read this letter. My father, at this very moment, is doing unimaginable things to my half-sister, Elizabeth Paige. It's only the night before the full moon and my sense of hearing has increased. I heard his mind about saying that he'll r**e her for being a werewolf and a witch.
It's awful because I can hear her bones cracking and popping. I saw my father's mind which showed Elizabeth's back and neck. I know that it's strange to talk to a professor about this but I'd like to know if he has to have a hearing with the Wizengamot or a court date set with the muggles about this? Would she have to go to St. Mungos or a muggle hospital for what he's doing to her?
If you can, talk to Dumbledore about this for help. Send an owl back or Floo in to talk about this to him. If you decide to come over to talk with all three of us then I recommend you (or Dumbledore) come on the 17th. I'm sorry if this is taking up some of your time but at this point, something ought to be done about it.
- Luke Dower
Luke read through the letter making sure there were no spelling mistakes and wrote on the envelope.

Luke carefully folded the letter and slipped it into the envelope. He sealed the envelope and let the Family Owl take the letter in its beak. Luke looked out the window again, making sure that no muggles in the area were waking up from the cracking only he could hear because the full moon was close to rising and let the family owl fly to Hogwarts.
He went to the kitchen and made some Ovaltine to help him sleep. Once Luke downed all of his Ovaltine, he went back upstairs and tried to sleep as the cracking had died down now.
In the Headmaster's Office at Hogwarts, Dumbledore and McGonagall were having a discussion about the letter they recently received from Luke. "His father's doing such a shocking thing to an eleven-year-old child," McGonagall exclaimed to Dumbledore with her accent thick.
"I know, Minerva." Dumbledore sighed. "Just four letters to say what a man is doing the night just before the full moon to an innocent child." He took off his glasses and started rubbing at the bridge of his nose. "I'll be seeing him on the seventeenth to know what was going through his head along with the punishments he'll need to serve."
"What about the girl?! He said he could hear her bones cracking and popping which doesn't sound right at all when that sort of thing is happening!" McGonagall shook her head, whipped out a handkerchief and blew her nose.
"It's not a very nice thing to do to a person as young, taking away their innocence at night in that way." He put his glasses back on. "It's hard enough for her to be bitten at three years old. Her half-brother's father tried soaking up the blood with a picnic blanket and their mother left the powdered silver and dittany to close up the bite."
"He did that?" McGonagall gulped. "He helps her then when she was bitten but now she gets abused horribly by someone who isn't even related by blood only through her half-brother?!" McGonagall felt like she was going to faint as her eyes watered up.
"Minerva, its what werewolves are thought to be treated as. Vermin, the acid that's been spilt, left to harm others until they die or are changed in a certain way. Others think they are mistreated and misjudged for who they truly are on every other day of the month except one night."
"I agree with you but what he's done is not meant to be done to a child or even anyone! What do we have to do about him? He's not safe around them even if he's done it once! What if he decides to do it every summer and Christmas break?" She was losing it. Luke never came to Hogwarts with more marks after the holidays, only going there as a first-year with one huge scar across his jaw and a bite mark on his finger.
One day McGonagall was just marking work during one of the lessons wondering how Luke got a giant scar across his face and the bite mark on his finger. "They're from my sister, Professor." Luke blurted out making the whole class jump not realizing he was using his Legilimens powers.
It was when they were on the park and she accidentally scratched him while on the play equipment also accidentally bit his finger when they were playing together.
"We'll have to see on the seventeenth. Pop off to rest Minerva, we'll have to see what happens in the morning." Dumbledore held the door open, she wiped her eyes dry and left to her sleeping chambers.
As the sun was rising, Jeff was changing back into his clothes as Libby slept in a pool of sweat. Libby was shivering from the cold with bruises all over her scars and cut lips from the ball and chain along with Jeff biting her lips earlier that night. Jeff climbed the ladder and shut the trap door but stepped on it a few times to tightly secure it.
When he entered the kitchen, Luke was already in there eating a bowl of porridge staring coldly at Jeff. "What's with your mardy face?"
"It's what you've done, Dad," Luke replied with a pinch of disgust.
"I have no clue what you're on about." A bare lower, scarred stomach was shown in Luke's vision moving forwards and backwards as well as going left and right.
"Don't act stupid, I can see that you've fancied sucking where you're not meant to." Luke shivered violently at the pictures of it along with losing his appetite. He emptied the bowl and put it in the sink.
"It was delightful," Jeff told him, echoed a chef's kiss and Luke threw up in the sink. Jeff started rubbing his back but Luke smacked his hand away.
"Don't touch me! You are staying in this house and not leaving it."
"Why so you can get down and dirty with me?"
"Why would I do that at the age of fifteen?!"
"Runs in the family and teenage boys. They want to get with their friends or their own parents. Is that just for us Muggles or is it what both freaks like you do, too?"
"Muggles." Luke scoffed and turned the tap on to wash the vomit away.
Tapping on glass made Luke glance towards the window to see an owl with an envelope tied to its leg. Luke turned the envelope over to see the Hogwarts logo printed into the wax seal. He slid his finger under the seal and took out the letter inside it.
Dear Mr L. Dower,
I've had a word with Professor Dumbledore and he will visit to have a word with the three of you. Keep your father indoors at all times until things have been dealt with. We are both appalled at what you have written about your father and will make sure there's something done about it.
We'll see what the damage is to know if she has to go to a muggle hospital or St. Mungos. You'd have to get a police officer involved about the court date with your father but get one if Dumbledore asks for one on the 17th.
- Professor M. McGonagall
Luke put the letter back in its envelope and went upstairs to put it in his drawer.
In the bomb shelter, Libby's transformation was beginning as she let out shrieks of pain and she started losing her mind. Her skin bubbled as tufts of hair sprouted from her skin, her face lengthened, her teeth got sharper and longer, her back curved along with her legs and her spine cracked and popped into its werewolf shape.
Its instant thing to do was to harm, eat, kill any creature or living thing. No living things were in the shelter except the werewolf. Everyone was in their homes, safely behind brick walls, away from a werewolf's attacks. They were torturing the werewolf senses to eat someone so it did the only thing it knew to do, break. Break its skin so it bled on the floor and matted its fur.
Libby never came out of the bomb shelter the next day. Luke had to bring her in when it was time for them to eat. He knocked on the metal door and spoke. "Are you decent?"
"Yes." Came a weak reply and luke opened the door to it and lowered himself into it. Sitting on the destroyed bed was a bleeding, bruised, shaken and tired looking version of Elizabeth Paige. Luke gasped and hurried over to her. He lifted her up and carefully carried her out of the shelter to indoors. She winced at the pain of one of the cuts from Jeff.
He sat her at the table and she was shaking violently. How was it this month? He said in his head so his dad couldn't hear him. "Painful. Hurt more than usual because of him. Not nice." She muttered as she nibbled the bacon cob in front of her that Luke made for her. Luke got her dressing gown and helped her put it on before she could finish eating. He put a glass of water down on the table for her to drink and she took sips of it as she waited for nothing. I told the staff at Hogwarts about what he's done so we can get you help and him in prison hopefully. Luke said in his head while smiling at her. "Didn't have to," Libby muttered, stood up but lost her footing and fell back in her chair.
Luke helped her up and helped walk her to the bathroom. She washed her face and then her teeth. He helped her to her bedroom and sat her on her bed. I'm gonna lock the door so he can't get in here, okay? She nodded her head, hugged Luke and then he left. The door closed behind him and a click sounded and he checked the door if the spell had worked and it did.
Libby changed into her pyjamas and when her head hit her pillow, she fell into a deep disturbing sleep.
When she woke up, it was with a start. The dream to others but a flashback to the Dowers and Libby ended when Jeff's crotch got too close to her mouth. Tears started pouring over her cheeks and she curled up into a ball.
After a few hours of trying to calm herself down, she heard her door unlock and looked up to see who it was. "What is it?" Luke asked is a calm, gentle voice.
"The other night." She replied through a gulp of tears and Luke sat on her bed and hugged her. They stayed like this for a moment and Luke checked the time on the clock. 6:30.
"Do you wanna go down and play on your piano for a bit?" Libby nodded and they walked downstairs to where the piano was. Luke got out the sheet music for Chiquitita as Libby lifted up the cover and stroked the keys to know what pressure was good enough. "Play it quietly. If you want to you can sing along with me."
Libby started stroking the keys while looking at the sheet music as Luke quietly sang along and it started making her feel better. He rested his cheek on her shoulder and she started to join in singing as they harmonised together. Chiquitita was the only song that would make Libby feel better during an upsetting along with the acoustic version of You Are My Sunshine.
When they all had breakfast and changed into daily clothes, a knock came to the door and Jeff glared at them and then at the door. He grunted then stood to see who was at the door. At the door was a tall man with long silvery hair and a long beard that was tucked into his rope belt with his half-moon glasses relaxing on his nose. "Who're you?" Jeff asked harshly.
"Sorry, Professor. It's a thing that if you're from this area, people will talk to you horribly." Luke apologised.
"No need to apologise for something your father has grown up with. May I come in?" Jeff stepped to the side and the man stepped inside. Jeff closed the door and Libby looked nervously at the man and then to Luke.
It's okay, Liw. He's here to help. Luke nodded to her and Libby nodded in reply. "I'm Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts school for Witchcraft and Wizardry."
"Are you here for what Libby is?" Jeff asked harshly but Dumbledore took this as no threat.
"I am here for what you've done to Miss Paige," Dumbledore replied calmly and Jeff stared coldly between them. Which one of you little shits told this git about what fun I had with her?! Jeff growled in his head. Luke looked like he was going to be sick along with Libby who was holding her stomach and mouth from hearing his mind. I'm talking with you later! He snapped to them and faced back to Dumbledore.
"It's not very appropriate behaviour to inflict on a child as young as Miss Paige." He told Jeff with a straight face. "I would like to know why you have done said thing."
"Does it matter if I tell you or not?" Jeff asked.
"It does, Mr Dower. If you don't tell me I'll have to get the law involved. They will be involved either way. So, I ask you again, Mr Dower. Are you going to tell me why you did it?" Jeff stayed quiet and said nothing. "I looked up information on this house before making my way here because of what you've done and it appears that there is a red flag on this house. Is there not?"
"There might be."
"Do you know what red flags are for, Mr Dower?"
"There for the police. If the landline rings the coppers then they'll come here straight the way." Jeff replied monotone.
"Would you like your son to call them for me so you can talk to them about what you've done?"
"Call them then. I don't care!" Jeff threw his hands in the air and Luke went to the landline. He dialled the number and told them that they needed them for confrontation. They waited for them to come which only took five minutes.
A knock came to the door and Luke answered it to a policewoman and a policeman in full gear. "Are you the one that called?" The woman asked and Luke nodded. He opened the door wider and they walked in. They nodded to Dumbledore and Libby as a way of saying hello and Libby nodded back in reply.
"Who here is Mr Jeff Dower?" The man asked and Jeff put his hand in the air. "Could you talk with us sir in private about why we've been called here?"
"Sure." Jeff showed them to the front room. "They said in private. So why don't you three go in another room? Lu'e!" Jeff snapped his fingers and pointed to the room that was nearby.
Luke led them into the kitchen and shut the door so they couldn't hear what Dumbledore was going to ask them. "Would you like anything thing to drink, Professor?"
"A glass of water, if you can?"
"Liw?"
"I'm fine." She said with her voice shaking. Luke made the glass of water for Dumbledore and put it on the table.
"Thank you, Mr Dower." Dumbledore took a sip of the water. "Do you know why he decided to do these things to you?" He asked calmly to Libby.
"He's here to help. Once the police are done with dad, we can help you." Luke told her and put a hand on her shoulder which made her flinch.
"He said that... he was going to use a ball and chain on me as well as rope and handcuffs." She shuddered as she said this. "He did use them on me because he said that he would've done it to my mum but because she's dead and I look like her, I got it."
"He said those?!" Luke gasped and she shook her head. She tapped her forehead and Luke knew at once. "He thought of it so the neighbours couldn't hear?" She nodded her head.
"I noticed earlier before I introduced myself, you both looked at Mr Dower like you were nauseous. Why?"
Luke looked at Libby. Do you wanna tell him? She shook her head. Do you want me to? She nodded her head this time. "He wanted to know which one of us told you about the fun he had with Libby," Luke told him and he looked pale as he said it.
"What if the police talk to us to get more information about why he did it and they question my scars?" Libby asked them cautiously.
"How'd you know they will?"
"When I was in year five, a girl came in with marks on her that were healing. I wanted to know what was upsetting her and it was the police looking at all the marks on her. They look at the marks on children and teenagers to know if they're being abused." They both looked nervously at Dumbledore and he thought for a moment.
"I know it is wrong to lie to the law but the only way to get past this without sounding like a lunatic is to say that the fresh ones are from the night before and the ones that have healed are from being clumsy or things that have happened at your past schools." Dumbledore supplied.
"Do you think you can tell them that?" Luke asked.
"Yeah, it can be like from when Shanice set a whole year group on me for nowt while I was reading outside when I came back from the full moon night."
"She did what? A whole year group?"
"Yep, all of the year sixes she could find because you know that I was the one at school with no mates and never socialised as much because I like reading," She told him while thinking back on it like it was yesterday.
A knock came to the door. "Please may I have the person who he r***d?" Libby stood and followed the policewoman to the front room. "Mr Dower said that he hasn't done anything of the sort about raping you. This is a serious thing if you lie about r**e, do you understand?"
"Yes."
"How did you get these marks on you?"
"The ones that are healed are from when I was at school. I was reading a book at then this girl came up to me with about thirty to sixty-year sixes and then she said things about me and started beating me up with the other year sixes. Then the fresh ones were from the other night."
"Can you show me in the places he hit you the other night?" She asks calmly and Libby slowly lifted up her top to show her marked stomach. My god! She put her top back down. The policewoman wrote on her notepad.
"I know it's not very nice to hear this but he -" Libby took a shuddering breath. "He had his mouth at my crotch at one point and then at another point he had his...in my mouth." Both of them paled. "He handcuffed me to a bar, put a ball and chain in my mouth and then tied my legs 'round his back. He stripped me before he did those things and took a pill before tying me up an all."
"Do you know where he left those objects?"
"Yes."
"Lead the way." Libby shakily stood up and went through the kitchen to go to the back garden. Luke and Dumbledore were discussing what they're going to do about the healing option.
When they got to the bomb shelter, Libby used all the muscle she had to open the hatch. Usually, it'd either be Luke or Jeff helping her open the hatch before the full moon, but because the full moon was a few days ago, she could open it herself. They climbed down the ladder and the policewoman was looking shocked as Libby looked down, unable to stand the feeling in her stomach wanting to escape out her mouth. "What'd you do down here?"
"It's where we let our anger out." She lied.
"And he let his anger out on you by raping you?"
"Yeah. I was playing outside for a bit to soak up the rare British sun. Then I got dragged down here, threw me down and I landed on my knees."
"Who made these massive marks and why's there a bed down here?"
"Jeff wanted to keep the bed down here because if any of us needed to let our anger out and couldn't calm down to deal with human interaction then we'd make ourselves dinner. We'd eat it in here and then take it up in the morning."
"So, where are they at?" Libby walked over to the cabinet that was unlocked the other night since twelve years ago. In the cabinet was a box of the pills that Jeff took. She pointed to the floor where the torn rope was at that Libby had to bite off along with her ankles as a werewolf. A ball and chain were near the wall with the chain snapped. And then there was a pair of handcuffs that were broken near the wall and separated. "How'd they get this broken?!"
"I don't know." She told her but hiding the fact that when she transformed, they broke and cut into her skin. "I guess I was passed out at that point." She looked at Libby's bruised and cut wrists and wrote on her notepad what was seen.
"I'd like to know and see everything that he did to you that night." The policewoman leaned against the wall with her pen and notepad ready to write evidence.
Libby sat on the bed and rolled up the ankles of her jeans to show bite marks and blood dripping slightly from them. Then next she rolled up her sleeves to show bruises and a few cuts and on her forearms were cuts as well from transforming. On her neck was a few hickeys and cuts. And then on her face was more cuts that went across her nose, cheek and on her forehead.
"Is there anything else?" Libby shook her head and rolled her trousers and sleeves back down.
The policewoman got out resealable bags while putting rubber gloves on. She picked up the materials used and put them in the bags. "Shall we go back inside?" Libby nodded and climbed back up the ladder with the policewoman following behind. When they got in the kitchen, Jeff was in handcuffs with a sour look on his face while standing beside the policeman.
"What were you doing outside?"
"She showed me the materials that were used on her and the pills that Mr Dower used before committing the crime." She walked over to the policeman. "Has a court date been set?"
"These two have accepted to chose September 17th. I need to know if she accepts." He said while pointing at Luke and Dumbledore and then to Libby. "Are you fine with going to court on the 17th next month?" Libby looked at Luke. The next full moon's on the 14th. Libby nodded.
"We'll see you on the seventeenth then." They left through the front door and their sirens wailed down the street.
"Wait, wouldn't we be at Hogwarts on that day?"
"Because I'm headmaster, I can get you out of lessons while were in court."
"So, what's happening now?" Libby asked them and Dumbledore nodded to Luke.
"We're taking you to St. Mungos because as Dumbledore explained to me, if you went to a muggle hospital, they'll get the police involved with it again and we don't need that." Dumbledore took both Luke and Libby to St. Mungos by disapparating.
They stood in the reception of St Mungos. The receptionist looked up at them and when she noticed Dumbledore with two others, she knew it was something urgent. "What is it, Professor?"
"Something happened the other night with Mr Dower's father and Miss Paige." The receptionist looked at both Libby and Luke. Libby was the most shaken and was looking at the floor to not see others staring at her.
"What happened between them?"
Luke leaned in so others couldn't hear what he was going to say. "He r***d her." He whispered and she clasped her hands over her mouth.
The receptionist pressed a button under the desk and a healer came from a room and looked at them. "Take them to the third floor. It's about 18-1-16-5."
"Oh, come with me then." They followed the healer and took them to the third floor. When they got there, the room had no one in it because these things rarely happened in the wizarding world. The healer pulled out a clean pair of purple ward pyjamas for her to put on. Libby got behind the curtains that wrapped around a bed and changed into them. She folded her clothes and put them to one side and put them to one side.
"Are you changed?" The healer asked.
"Yeah," Libby replied and the healer moved the curtains back to show that a potion drip with a trolly that had a potion and a few other things on it that Libby had no clue what they were.
"Can you drink that potion for me and then I'll do what needs to be done?" Libby nodded as the healer took the cork out of the bottle and handed over to Libby. She downed the potion in a few parts and made a face of disgust but drank it anyway. Whatever tastes bad, does you good, as Jeff always said. She started feeling tired and the healer helped lay her on the bed as Libby started losing her consciousness.
When she woke up, it was to find Luke holding her hand while talking to Dumbledore. Libby squeezed Luke's hand to let him know that she was awake. Luke down at Libby and squeezed her hand back in reply. "Ahh, I see that you've woken up. Did we wake you?"
"No."
"Before the school year starts, I just want to make sure that you want this or not. Do you want our potions master, Severus Snape, to make you a potion that you have to take before the full moon for a week?"
"No. I'll deal with what I brought upon myself from when I was three. You don't need to spend money on ingredients that are expensive to make it. It's fine."
"If you took the potion, it will make you keep your mind during the full moon."
"I'd prefer to lose it once a month then keep it every day of the year."
"I'll make sure to tell him that he won't need to waste his time on making a potion for you. I've got to go back to Hogwarts now. I'll see you in September. Farewell."
"Bye, Professor Dumbledore." They chimed and Dumbledore left the room.
"Why didn't you want the potion?"
"It's because they can use the money on educational things for around the classroom." Luke hugged her and she went stiff at it. He started stroking her back.
When she was released from St. Mungos, Luke and Libby took the bus to town so they could go in Marks and Spensers for the rest of their uniform that they needed along with shoes. The cashier looked at them strangely about buying things a day before the muggles went back to school.
They bought all the things that they needed and as a treat, they got a Greggs sausage roll because who wouldn't... except vegans and vegetarians, that's who. When they got home, Luke and Libby made sure that they were fully packed for Hogwarts with everything from school equipment and clothing to presents and money.
When it came to the beginning of September, they Flooed to The Leaky Cauldron and made their way to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.
