Amelia knew she had only one choice—she had to trick Alexander into believing she was in the marriage
She pretended to accept the marriage. She smiled and began to show him some affection, acted kind, decided to come around and not isolate herself like she always does, and nodded when he spoke.
She plays the perfect role as she plans another escape.
Then, on a quiet night again, when everyone was asleep, she tip-toed and sneaked out through the kitchen doors.
Her heart pounded in fear as she ran outside towards the big gate gently
Then—
All of a sudden Bright Car headlights flashed in front of her. A black car blocked her path. She stopped and wondered who it was.
The door opened, and the flashlight pointed directly at her face, she covered her face with the two of her hands because of the hash race of the light,
and a man stepped out gently. He wore a long black coat, and a boat and his face was calm—too calm.
It was Alexander, Amelia was gripped with fear and confusion. She tried to run back, “Stop right there”
“You thought I wouldn’t catch you?” He said unto her, you can’t be smarter than me in my own house. I watch every one of your steps.
“You’ve left me with no choice, Amelia,” he said, reaching into his pocket. Amelia was scared and shivering. He removed a small wooden handle gun and showed her,
“Don’t force me to use this”. Alexander said facing her with the gun and pointed it in the direction of her room and asked her to return to the house. Without a word, she ran back.
The following morning was the day set for the wedding, Amilia after trying everything she could to escape and did not work, she gave up and began to accept her Faith because it looked like she had no choice at the time.
It was the main day, Amelia woke up very tired and sad from last night’s incident between Alexander and her.
Good morning Amilia, the two maids greeted her with jovial facial expressions. We have been assigned by our master to come and dress you up for the wedding ceremony.
“They said to her,” She stood up and went to the bathroom in anger and freshened up reluctantly.
Amelie came out of the bathroom, cleaned her body with a white soft towel and sat in front of a large mirror in a grand bedroom specifically prepared and decorated by the maids of the house just for her.
A white beautiful wedding dress was kept for her to put on, Amilia did, and the white dress covered her body beautifully, as a soft lace brushed against her arms.
The dress was very beautiful, but she felt like a prisoner in it.
Her hands shook as a maid fixed her hair. The golden hairpins shone under the bright lights, but Amelia did not care.
The wedding was happening.
She had tried her best to run severally, but Alexander had caught her. Now, she had no choice then to let the wedding happen.
A knock on the door made her flinch. It was Alexander Excuse us, he said, The maids stepped aside one after the other as Alexander walked in approaching her.
He wore a black suit and a black cover shoes, he smelled very good, with his hair properly arranged, his blue eyes watching her closely.
“You look beautiful,” he said, with his deep baritone voice calmly.
Amelia turned away facing the opposite direction “I don’t want this.” she showed her displeasure.
Alexander stepped closer and stood behind her. “Do you want to ruin your family?” he whispered.
Amelia’s breath caught. What do you mean? What are your thoughts? What are you talking about? Talk to me she asked profusely …Alexander did not respond,
he walked away saying it was almost time, finish making her up. Let's go, he told the maids waiting, as he walked away…
They hurried up and finished dressing her up, and escorted her gently to the car as they helped her pack the heavy wedding Gown.
Alexander was already waiting for her by the car. “Get into the car, let's go to the venue where our guests are already waiting for us.” He said to her,
Amelia Reluctantly jacked up her very beautiful wedding gown and moved majestically into a very beautiful well decorated Mercedes Benz car,
specially pouches for the wedding while Alexander joined her in the car using the other door, on their way, Amalia look out through the window of the car but she was not looking at anything. She was lost in her thoughts.
They both kept mute, Alexander was busy with the phone and never said anything to each other.
On arrival at the venue, Mr Tate, his wife Amelia's Mum and all the other guests were seated and catching up waiting for the bride and the groom to arrive so that the ceremony could begin. Wedding gingle was playing as the background sound.
They both arrive at the venue, drop from the car and walk down to the hall, with lots of excitement from guests, Alexander's friends and family.
None of Amilie's Friends was invited because she didn't want the wedding in the first place. Everybody could notice that Amelia was not happy about the wedding. Her dad stood up and moved towards her and whispered to her in a very low turn
“You have to smile and be excited, fake it if you can, he said to her, this is not just about you, its for the benefit of all of us in the Family”
Amilia was confused and still did not understand what was going on, lots of questions run through her mine without any answers, he walked back to his seat allowing her to walk down the aisle,
soft music was playing in the background. Amalie and Alaxeder started walking down majestically, with Alexander waving at the guests.
“They approached the front of the room, where the officiating priest stood.
He looked out at the congregation and asked, ‘Is there anyone here who has a valid reason why these two should not be married—speak now or forever hold your peace.’
The room fell silent. No one responded. The priest then prepared to read their vows.”
A very loud voice echoed through the hall from the back
“Stop the wedding!”
The room fell silent. Amelia and everybody seated turned toward the door, her heart pounding. She gasped for air in suck as she turned around and saw who it was…
