The Engagement And Wedding

“Are you sure you want to do this? I mean we could always wait”
Sienna muttered, her nerves on edge. Today both her and Mihawk were going to exchange vows but it wasn’t going to be a proper wedding, with Mihawk being a warlord, working for the world government and Sienna being a wanted criminal. It was severely frowned upon for them to marry, especially with the marines always trying to catch Sienna.
“Sienna” Mihawk spoke as he held her hands “all I want is a peaceful life… with you… so please do me the honours of marrying me today - I know it’s not official but once I get your name cleared we can get married properly”
“We both know my name won’t be cleared, the marines don’t want me because I’m a ‘criminal’ they want me because of my connection to Shanks, they see me as a weapon to be exploited and used to bring my father down”
Sienna looked down seeing the white silk of her dress, it wasn’t a massive wedding dress as she had dreamt of when young but it was still gorgeous and perfect for their small reunion.
“They won’t have you, you’re safe here with me. Shanks will stay hidden and you’ll be safe.”
“I just wish we could have a normal wedding…”
“We will” Mihawk spoke as he kissed her forehead “one day and I promise it’ll be everything you ever dreamed of and more”
A giggle left Sienna’s lips as she smiled finally lifting her head. “You know you were right doing it here in the gardens is perfect”
“Just wait till we get to the bedroom” Mihawk spoke with a cheeky grin on his face making Sienna giggle more as she bit down on her lower lip.
“Don’t give me that look”
“What look?”
“You know fine what look!”
Sienna bursts into a fit of laugher seeing Mihawk’s reaction, she loved teasing him and winding him up.
“Now…” Mihawk paused as he took out a ring made of gold with a beautiful diamond attached making Sienna’s eyes widen
“Mihawk… I-“
“Only the best for my babygirl”
Sienna blushed deeply.
“Will you have me as your husband Sienna?”
“I do” Sienna responded as Mihawk slid the ring onto her finger above her engagement ring. Looking at her engagement ring brought back the memory of Mihawk proposing. It wasn’t the most ideal way…
*FlashBack*
Mihawk was in the vice admirals office speaking to Garp about the Straw-Hat boy Luffy.
“I decided to let him go…”
Garp just laughed hearing this, a crazed look in his eyes, he wanted Mihawk to bring Luffy back to the marines, to let him go was preposterous but their conversation was quickly diverted when a marine came in, smirking as if he had the best news ever.
“Sir we have her!”
“Have who?” Garp questioned, intrigued to know why one of the marine cadet’s were so happy.
“Shanks’ Daughter!”
Immediately Mihawk’s eyes widened upon hearing this but quickly masked by his normal cold gaze and intimidating stature.
“Show me!” Garp responded as the marine lead the way to a room where Sienna was, her wrists chained, she was drenched in sea water and held by multiple marines while her sword laid on the table.
Mihawk followed seeing the girl like this shattered him on the inside, but he couldn’t let it show, not with the marines around, better question was how did she leave the castle? He locked her inside Every time he left for his duties.
“Well well well, I got to admit when I first heard we had Shanks’ daughter I was a little surprised, didn’t think we’d ever find you.” He reached out only for Sienna to bite his hand.
“Tch… feisty b***h, have you checked her for any other weapons?” He asked seeing only her sword on the table.
“No sir, she bites anyone who touches her”
Mihawk step forward “allow me”
The marines moved away letting Mihawk examine her, removing her daggers hidden in her clothes and multiple smoke bombs while whispering in her ear “once I get you home, we’re talking” he spoke in an authoritative tone.
“She’s clean” he spoke to the marines.
Before long Sienna was dragged out of the room and towards the cells, her stay was cut short however since Mihawk got her out of the cells hours later and taking her back to his castle.
The door was slammed behind him as he frowned.
“What did I say about leaving this damn castle?! You’re not safe out there Sienna! But you’re nothing but stubborn just like your father! If your father had just disciplined you more maybe things would be different!”
Sienna was silent as Mihawk let out his hidden anger from the past few hours while Sienna was chained and locked up.
“Well are you going to say anything?!”
Again Sienna said nothing, her arms crossed and her eyes closed. Mihawk sighed, he hated to admit it but Sienna was his weakness, all he could think about was her and her safety.
“Just do as I say from now on and stay in the castle - I had so much planned for tonight but the moment is ruined cause I had to save your ass!… f**k sake Sienna I was going to ask you to marry me!”
Sienna’s body flinched hearing those words, her eyes widening.
“Marry you?”
“Yes I had everything planned! Perona was going to set up the dining room while I was away! Roses on the bed with a bottle of wine then I was going to ask-“
“Ask me now…”
“What?” Mihawk questioned, his emotions were getting whiplashed, first he was angry then he was furious and now stunned.
“Ask me to marry you now”
“No not like this not when I’m pissed off”
“Mihawk… ask me now” Sienna spoke her hands shaking as she held his. Mihawk sighed before bending down to one knee taking out a a gold ring that has their initials engraved
“Will you Marry me?”
*End Of Flashback*
“Do you Mihawk, take me as your wife?”
“I do” he smiled genuinely as Sienna slid the ring onto his finger.
“Well I guess that means I have to kiss you now” Mihawk chuckled before leaning in his arm moving around Sienna’s waist
“Really ew…”
“Shut up and Kiss me, my wife” he smirked pulling Sienna in and kissing her deeply.
