THE ARRIVAL OF two more little ones in our household required some changes. We moved the two middle boys into a small bedroom next to that of Mark and Steven, thus making room in the nursery for Paul and Raymond. As Grace’s responsibilities increased, so did her salary. In addition, the young woman who’d been helping Grace part-time agreed to work full-time. Even with that much help, the logistics of having six children all in diapers at the same time dictated that all of us, including Roger and Steve, got involved at one time or another. The boys’ reaction to their first hands-on experience with very dirty diapers was priceless.
