THURSDAY EVENING, ROGER and his dad came over because the boys had requested a meeting with us. We went upstairs to the study and got comfortable, and I said, “Okay, guys, what’s on your mind?”
“As you know,” Roger said, “business is going great. We have so many referrals from satisfied customers that we’re going to have to hire some help.”
“But?” Mason said.
“We need to buy some equipment,” Steve said. “We have the mowers that you and Uncle Philip let us have, but it’s just not enough. Also, it takes too long to get them from one customer to the next pulling the mowers behind bicycles. A lot of our customers don’t have any equipment of their own, so we have to provide everything.”
