I’m not sure how long we stared at each other but I’m sure it couldn’t have been more than a few seconds. Ben growled behind me and Joe shifted his eyes from me to him. Joey moved from around his desk and walked out to us. I took a step back closer to Ben and Cristy.
“Darling give me a minute to explain.” He begged me
