Fingernails

Allysias’ POV

                After a few more rounds of shots I found a nice spot by the pool and plopped myself there. I stripped the shorts and laid out, beer in hand, enjoying the music. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Jenny was dancing and still seemed to have Franks undying attention. It was hard not too when you looked like Jenny. She was a supper tall, blonde, and could easily be a runway model. Now on top of all that beauty she was a witch, wolf, and a doctor. They would keep any man entertained.

                Cristy was being pushed around on a floaty as she sipped a frozen margarita and ed growled at anyone that looked at her too long. It was sweet to watch them together. People were starting to light some of the firepits we had around the yard and I saw Chad and Jillian sharing smores. It looked harmless but I saw the way he watched her lick her fingers. I had seen that same look in his brother’s eyes and it always ended with my clothes off.

                I was running low on beer and tequila. My man went on a bar run about twenty minutes ago and the bar was like five steps away there is no way it takes twenty minutes. I looked around and spotted him with a group of people he went to school that decided to stop by. He had a beer and my tequila in his hands. Then this girl with pink fingernails ran her hand down my man’s chest and took my drink out of his hand. I tried to be cool but then she dank my drink and Joey watched her lick her lips.

                The growl that came out of me had people moving away from me. How dare you come to my party, at my house, drink my drink and flirt with my man. Cristy flowed my eyes and growled right there with me. Ed just stook his head, he loved his friend, but he knew that in this moment his friend f****d up. Jenny saw the whole thing happen and smacked Joey upside the head as she walked over to me grabbing a drink from the bar for me. I stood up and walked over to the table we were using. I avoided standing up because this was a thong bikini, and I didn’t want two many people looking at me but at this point I was pissed and didn’t care.

                “do you want me to turn her into a toad” Jenny asked.

                “as much as I would love that, she not worth your magic. Honestly, I’m mad at him he should have put an end to the flirting. I should have to get involved or have you turn her into a toad to get her to stop flirting with my mate.” I told her.

                “girl, f**k him get that sexy ass in the water. I sent Ben and Ed to go get shots. Let’s play volleyball.” Cristy said from the water.

                “good Idea” I told her.

                I slipped off my ray bans and made my way over to the rock waterfall I felt my mate’s eyes on my ass, and it sent chills through my body. Making me wet between my legs. I needed to get in this water and cool off.

                “Hey handsome. If little miss pinky over there gets her finger nails out of you why don’t you come play with your mate.” I yelled over to Joey

                The girl’s eyes flamed at me and I just enjoyed the victory as I dove in the water. When I came up for air, I saw joey diving in right after me. Ben and Ed put the shots next to the pool and jumped in as well.

                “how are we doing the teams” Jenny asked

                My mate took his time under the water to bite my ass before he came up for air and I splashed him with water. He wrapped his arms around my waste and pulled me against his body. I could feel my mate’s erection growing against my ass. I felt a wave of heat wash over me and all the men in the area turned and looked at me with glowing eyes. Even though I was marked and mated my heat was still affected the wolfs that I wasn’t mated too. I had to get myself under control. I wasn’t even in full heat yet.

                “ok well on that note, Joey you’re on mine team with Ed. Foxy can be over there with Jenny, Frank and Ben.” Cristy said.

                “no fair. They have four we only have three.” Ed wined with a fake pout

                “we have the alpha on our team, and we are the betas. They can have the extra person she laughed.” Cristy giggled

                “how about I join your team that way its fair.” The she wolf that had her claws in my mate said.

                Cristy looked at me to see what the play was but we had a crowed forming around the pool to see us play and I didn’t want to make a scene.

“sure, you can play but we are play point for shot. So, I hope you liked my tequila earlier because you’re about to drink a whole lot more of it.” I said grabbing the ball and serving it over the net.

                We are animals we don’t play for fun. Our fun is destroying the other team. I could feel everyone’s emotions around me. Cristy was starting to get pissed that Ed kept getting in her way of hitting the ball. Frank was getting turned on watching Jenny bounce around for the ball. Ben was focused and not letting any outside issues get in the way of winning.

                We were winning six to five. Had to be up by two to win. Fingernails over there was getting pissed that she couldn’t get Joeys attention. Joey was so focused on my body, he was getting in my head and making it hard to focus. Ben through the ball up for the serve and I felt fingernails emotion change. I knew she was up to no good. The ball went flying toward Joey, but fingernails threw her body on top of him and got plastered in the face with the ball. Her boobs were in his face and she yelled like she was really hurt but in reality, I could smell her excitement.

                Joey held his hands up in defense to show he’s not touching her, but she played it up. I was done playing nice. She’s in my house, I am Luna, you may not like me, but you will respect me. I swam under the net and pulled her by her hair off my mate. I dragged her in the water over to the stairs.

                “You poor thing, you’re so drunk you can’t even play anymore. What kind of Luna would I be if I just let you drown? You stay her I’ll drink your shot for you.” I patted her head and swam away snagging her shot as I went.

                “ok head in the game now match point. Now that fingernail barbie is out of the way.” Ben said and cheers of laughter erupted.

                She didn’t like that very much. You could see the look of disgust on her face. Ben served the ball again and we pashed it back and forth with ease. Jenny dove for the ball trying to set up for a spike but it was poorly timed seeing as none of them were using wolf strength against me. So, I just had time the volley the ball back over the net. When I heard the splash.

                It was as if time slowed down. I heard the splash, saw all the heads turn towards the sound and saw fingernails using all her wolf abilities. She leaped out of the water and spiked the ball right at my face yelling “I’ll show you how to really spike.”

She messed with the wrong fox. I called on my fox self and extended my nails. I snapped my hand up and stopped the ball inches from my face, popping the ball with my nails. The look of shock on her face as she hit the water was priceless. Cristy’s eyes went white and Ed grabbed her around the waste. Throwing her under water. Joeys eyes went blue and roared with alpha power.

The crowd that was cheering instantly change and was ready for a fight with there alpha. I loved when my man was in charge. Another wave of heat hit me and Evos eyes landed on me. I knew if I didn’t do something this party was turning into blood, s*x, and gore. I laughed and sent out a wave of humor to the party. The wolf’s bodies relax and looked at me.

“wow fingernails may be on to something” I said holding up the deflated ball stuck to my nails “they do come in handy.” I said retracting my claws and throwing the deflated ball at her. I need to dance some of this anger away.

“Hey darling I think your team won. I think I owe you a dance. Although it could be all the tequila talking.” My mate said pressing me against the side of the pool.

“you know I love a good dance party” I said wrapping my arms around his neck. I leaned close to his ear “thank you” I said just between us.

“come on girl I requested Panic at the disco, hurry before he changes his mind.” Cristy called to me as she ran from the pool with Ed. Jenny and Frank not far behind.
