A few days had passed since Kade and I discussed the possibility of meeting his family. As I walked through the pack grounds, I spotted my close friends Emma and Gemma sitting under the shade of a large oak tree. They waved excitedly, inviting me to join them. I welcomed the break from my responsibilities and happily made my way toward them.

“Hey, Rose! Come join us,” Emma called out, her vibrant blue eyes sparkling with warmth.

“You’re right,” I said, a smile spreading across my face. “I am truly grateful for Xavier. He not only healed my wounds but opened my heart to a love I never thought possible. I couldn’t imagine my life without him.”

“You okay, Rose,” their voice breaking the tranquil moment. Absentmindedly chewing on my bottom lip, I contemplated if I should share my concern. “Come on Rose, we know something’s up. Letting out a breath, I gave in. “Kade’s mother wants to meet me, and I’m not sure if I’m ready.”

Emma’s emerald eyes shimmered with understanding as she leaned in closer. “Rose, meeting Kade’s family is a big step, but it’s also an opportunity. You’ve found love with you with the Alpha, and his family wants to know the woman who holds his heart.”

Gemma nodded in agreement, her vibrant red hair glimmering in the sunlight. “Rose, you’ve grown so much. You’ve faced rejection, pain, and loss, but you’ve come out stronger. Don’t let fear hold you back from embracing the connections that await you.”

“That’s so cheesy, but your right. Thank you, I really needed to hear that.”

“Yeah we know,” shrugging in unison. “Sometimes all you need is a little bit of cheesiness to lift you up.” I laughed, “that too was so cheesy.” We broke into fits of uncontrollable laughter.

Their words touched my heart, melting away some of the doubt that had clouded my thoughts. The love and support they gave reminded me of the incredible friends I had found in Emma and Gemma. Their faith in me gave me the courage to face my fears.

I took a deep breath, a newfound determination filling mee. “You’re right. I shouldn’t let fear hold me back. If Kade’s family wants to meet me, I will embrace the opportunity. I will show them the woman he loves and the person I have become.”

Emma’s eyes sparkled with pride, her voice filled with warmth. “That’s the spirit, Rose! Embrace the journey, and know that we’ll be here for you every step of the way.”

Gemma nodded, her fiery hair framing her face like a halo. “We’ll support you through this, Rose. You’ve found love, and now you’re stepping into a new chapter of your life. It’s an incredible journey, and we’re honored to be a part of it.”
