Vincenzo's Pov: I had an argument with Davina this morning, concerning her job at the university. Though I didn't invite anyone at the campus for our wedding ceremony, I knew the news about our marriage would soon spread. And I didn't want her to be affected by that when that happens. She thought I was controlling her, whereas, I was just looking out for her. "Boss, we're under attack." one of my guards informed me immediately I left the room. I didn't even have the time to protect my darling wife. I left her all to herself, rushing to kill the bastards who dared step foot in front of my gates and going wild in my territory. When I arrived outside, there were lots of my men outside, already defending themselves. They were so many outside, threatening to enter the house. I ran back into the house to protect my wife from being hurt should in case anything happened. The only place which could think of as the safest was the room down the basement. It was occupied by the Cassano family's assets in disguise of coffins , and no intruder had any idea something like that even existed in the house. "For the meantime, you'll stay here until I succeed in bringing down the tension." I told her. But she didn't want to stay there. I perfectly understood what could be going on in her mind. I knew she was scared seeing all those coffins. As I promised, I came back some hours later and brought her out of there. I could see from her face that she was afraid. While going upstairs, my phone began ringing. I looked at the screen and noticed it was Vitto who was calling. i am sure he had received the news of the attack from the guys by now. "Hola vitto," I said coldly in our tongue. I did not have a lot of time to waste over the phone. I needed to cheer up my terrified wife, and think about what next to do. "One of our men just informed me about the attacks from Dembele's boys. I hope everyone is fine?" He said over the phone, making use of a hush tone. Dembele boys? I had no idea Dembele was behind the attack. Dembele was a friend of my late father. One evening he declared a war to my dad, thinking he was the one who duped him of his millions of dollars. My father had no choice than to protect his territory. In the middle of this war, all of Dambele's families were almost wiped out. Just as i thought, he couldn't let things end up that way and pass, he surely came back for revenge, but I won't let him have his way this time around. I will make sure I shred him off and all that belongs to him. "I had no idea they were sent by Dembele. Prepare the boys, cause we are visiting his territory tonight. Non può venire ad attaccare il mio territorio e aspettarsi che mantenga la calma." I said in a dominating tone meaning 'He can't come and attack my territory and expect me to keep calm', my anger taking the better of me. "Ai tuoi ordini, capo." i could imagine him smirked as he said 'At your orders, boss' before hanging up the phone. I don't even know where Vitto got his sense of humor. He always find something to laugh at, even when there was nothing to laugh about, he would still figure out something. Before unfurling the door of our room, I heard nonna opening hers. Oops! I literally forgot nonna was home and needed to be protected by from roaches. "Figlio mio stai bene?" Nonna asked worriedly meaning 'My son are you fine?' as she caressed my cheeks. "Sì nonna, sto bene. E tu?" i replied back in Italian telling her i was fine, and asked about her. "Good, Good. What about your wife, did she panic a lot?" nonna inquired. "I think so. It's her fourth day in the house, and on a sunday morning she hears gunshots outside of the house." I said pushing my black voluminous hair behind nervously. "I know you are worried," Nonna said, gently tapping my back, "Seat here, and let's have a cup of coffee. I know it's going to help bring down your nerves." She said, her voice growing softer. Nonna was the only person who could bring down my anger. I must confess her carreses brought wellness to my soul. Just a while ago, I was tensed up. But in less than some minutes, Nonna brought me back to my senses. "Giuro che li ucciderò tutti. È meglio che si prepari, perché non risparmierò nessuno.." Those were the last set of words I said meaning 'I swear I'm going to kill them all. He had better prepare, because I won't spare anyone.', before the maid came in with two cups of coffee. She handed one to nonna, and placed the other cup on the table next to me. I was so f*****g angry that I couldn't even think about anything else. "Andiamo figliolo, sorseggia il tuo drink. Ci occuperemo di loro." Nonna said meaning 'C'mon son, sip your drink. We are going to deal with them' trying sooth my anger. I gulped down the content in the cup in less than five minutes. Placing the cup back on the table. Almost breaking the cup in anger. "Take it easy with yourself." nonna said, her voice trembling. "Do you want your wife seeing you in this state? I think not. You'd better adjust your mood and think things through, don't act reckless. When consigliere Angelo and Vitto gets here, together with our boys we would teach him a lesson he will never forget." My head was no longer with what nonna just said. All I wanted was to have Dembele close to me, and kill him with my g*n. This would be the best thing I ever did in a while. But nonna was right, Davina shouldn't see me in such a state. What will she think of me? She'd definitely think me a madman! I'd better get a bath and think of something to clear my mind. -:- One hour later, a Rolls-royce droved into the mansion and parked at the parking loft. I knew that was Vitto, he was finally back from his walk. He came in wearing long jeans, a silver shirt and a grey brogues. His hair was extremely cut and his cologne intoxicated the area when he walked in. He straightened his back greeting nonna before reaching to me. He took a seat close to me and brought out a card. "Dalle informazioni che ho avuto, gli uomini di Dembele sono rimasti feriti durante la battaglia. Significa che il momento migliore per attaccare il suo territorio è adesso. Ho parlato con i ragazzi e loro sanno cosa fare.." Vitto let out saying he got information that Dambele's men were injured from the battle earlier. He suggested saying it's best we attack now and that he had already informed the boys on what to do.
