Our car blows up into pieces. We shelter behind a rock to prevent the charred metals to get to us. I am glad we made it out alive because even a Lycan wouldn’t have survived such a blast. My back is on fire since I am on top of Aria, I couldn’t let her get hurt. So, I had to bear it all, all for her, and it’s worth it. She is my gift from the moon goddess, so I have to take care of her. We spend some minutes in that position, and soon enough the raging fire dies down. I stand from the ground, I cannot feel my back due to the raging pain erupting from it.
