Today had been exhausting. Not bad. Just long. I had made breakfast, taken Theo to school, attended my baking class, picked Theo up, helped him with his medication, made dinner, cleaned the kitchen, done some research about baking techniques, and spoken to William several times throughout the day. By the time I finally showered, I was completely drained. I changed into fresh pajamas, brought William his coffee, and climbed into bed. I expected to fall asleep immediately.
