Run from your past

It had been 6 months since Onix had abandoned his life at City city and Ran away with his new found love Vin and step son Arrow. They settled in a small cabin in the maple forest on planet sarago. The forest smelled sweet and nice, like waffles on a cold winter day, where the smell of maple syrup and fresh waffles filled the air. Onix sat on the couch reading a book on Earth's 3rd world war, Vin sat down next to him. Onix put the book down and cuddled Vin.

“Hey darling, How was your day?” Vin asked

“It was okay.. Better now that you're here” Onix said

“Awe, Did someone miss me?”Vin asked flattered. Onix nodded and closed his eyes. Vin kissed his forehead and pulled a blanket over Onix as he fell asleep.

Onix woke up a few hours later, Vin was Sitting in a chair reading to Arrow. Onix sat up and smiled at them.

“What are you two reading?”

“Oh just a book on the different colors” Vin said looking up at Onix and smiled. Arrow said something in Ender. Onix smiled and picked up Arrow.

“Are you two hungry? I can make us sandwiches” Onix said.

“Yesss, please do! I'm starving” Vin said. Arrow nodded and smiled. Onix put Arrow down and walked into the kitchen and made some sandwiches. They sat down at the table and ate. After they were done, Onix washed the dishes.

“Onix! Someone is here to see you!” Vin called out from outside. Onix grabbed the gun they had in a box under the sink and walked outside. When he went outside Cyrus was standing there with his hands up, Vin had his sword out.

“CYRUS?!” Onix exclaimed

“Hey Onix, How have you been?” Cyrus said. They all walked inside and sat down at the kitchen table and talked for a while. Apparently Cyrus’s brother Had kraken over the businesses and had taken over his home planet. Onix explained why he had left and what happened. Cyrus told them about a plce that he had made for everyone to be free, no hiding who they are and welcoming to everyone no matter what species. A safe place for everyone.

“Thats sounds really nice Cyrus but we both know that if we stayed-”

“It would be fine! Everyone gets a background check!” Cyrus said. Onix and Vin looked at each other nervously.

“We’ll think about it..” Onix said

“Well.. I should get going, I’ll come back later” Cyrus said, standing up and grabbing his coat.

“Alright, Have a safe flight see you later!” Onix said, rushing him out the door. When Cyrus was out of sight. Onix and Vin looked at each other

“I’ll get Arrow, Get the bags” Vin said. In a matter of moments they were out the door and onix pressed a button, and a spaceship appeared. They got in and soon they were half way across the solar system.

“Where will we go?” Onix asked

“I’m not sure.. We might have to call Axel and see if he can do something for awhile, Get them off our tails until we can figure something out”

“I hate to bother him..” Onix said with a sigh.

A few light years later they landed on a white and Gold planet with gold rings going around it. Onix took out a small gold and white box and then opened it. A glowing white orb popped up. Onix got out and set it on the ground, a few seconds later a tall glowing figure appeared, he had gold and white hair and a black tuxedo. He stood around 9’4 and he was purely white and had gold spots on his skin. He had golden striped horns and a white tail with a gold tip.

“What can I do for you Onix and Vin?” The figure said

“I’m so sorry to bother you Axel but we really need a place to stay for a while..”Onix said

“Oh that's alright! Of course you can stay with me, As long as you're fine with the cabin in the woods as all my Penthouses are… occupied” Axel said

“Oh yes that will be lovely!” Vin said with a smile. Axel smiled and nodded, He opened a portal and stepped aside “When you’re ready here is the portal”

Onix got a few bags and three suitcases out of the SpaceShip and looked at Vin with, Who gave him a smile and nod. Vin grabbed a few of the bags and Onix,Vin and Arrow walked through the portal. When they came through the other side of the portal, they were standing in front of a small wooden cabin in the middle of a cherry blossom forest, pink leaves cluttered the ground with cherry blossoms. They walked into the house and set their bags down. The inside of the cabin was quite nice and modern. The furniture was white with gold edges, there was a white rug in the middle and a coffee table with a few books and a vase with some flowers in it. Arrow giggled and ran around the furniture. Vin and Onix got settled in and looked around the house. They looked at each other and sighed.
