Chapter 70.
"The Alpha king is dead?" Daciana muttered more to herself as she watched Kellen stepping forward with both his hands placed on his head.
He brushed them through his hair, grunting and groaning as tears began trickling down his eyes.
Daciana didn't know what to do.
This all felt so unreal.
"Leave." Kellen suddenly blurted amidst sobs, turning around and gazing directly at the maids who stood in front of his father's door. "I said leave!"
His last command came out as a guttural roar fueled by his wolf and by his rage and sadness, causing the maids to jolt back in shock before they scattered, scurrying away without looking back.
Daciana also jolted back in shock, but she realized how depressed Kellen was when he leaned his back against a wall and began sobbing erratic
