Daciana could hear Kellen and Axel arguing behind her as she ran out of the bathroom but she didn't bother looking back, clutching her towel to her body until she got to the bedroom.
She proceeded to lock the door behind her, sighing in relief before she scanned her gaze around for her phone which was still ringing.
She spotted it on top of a drawer and grabbed it, staring at the screen curiously.
"Mom?" She muttered, parting aside some strands of her wet hair before she picked up the call.
"Daciana, my darling." Her mother said with a cheery tone as soon as she picked. "How're you doing? Are you okay? I hope the werewolves of that territory aren't giving you any trouble?"
Daciana sighed when she heard that last question but decided to ignore it by chuckling dryly.
