"Well, that was a lot of tension if I've ever seen any," Elena muttered when Alan finally left the table, bringing Daciana back to reality.
The latter glanced at her friend who cluelessly drank from her juice and ate her food.
"What 'tension' are you talking about?" Daciana asked, folding her arms in front of her chest and arching an eyebrow staring directly at Elena.
Her friend coughed awkwardly but didn't say anything.
Yeah... She thought as much.
"There's no 'tension' between me or any of the triplets, Elena." Daciana blurted, turning her gaze to a corner of the cafeteria out of instinct.
That was just in time for her to spot Kellen standing there, his back leaning against a wall as he discussed something with none other than Hailey.
