Daciana glanced at Elena, who seemed just as speechless as her but tried to separate herself from the conversation by looking through some books in her hands.
Ugh, traitor.
"Why does my transferring schools seem like such a shock to you?" Hailey asked, tilting her head and scanning her gaze from Daciana to Elena. "It's clear that the triplets need as much support as possible after the... Series of unfortunate events that happened to them last night."
She paused, intentionally staring at Daciana with disdain.
The latter merely sighed, not bothering to say anything in rebuttal.
Instead, she smiled. "Well, I'm sure they'll love to see you." She muttered.
Just then, as if she'd summoned them, she spotted the 'royal triplets' walking toward them.
Many people gawked at them or made way, whispering to themselves while the girls giggled.
And as for Daciana... She just stood there transfixed, unable to move her gaze away from them.
The way they walked, with Kellen in the middle, seemed like it was out of a movie.
However, something caught her attention, causing her eyebrows to furrow into a frown.
Axel had his arms wrapped around the waists of two girls who giggled and were all over him as they walked.
"What the f**k are you looking at?" Hailey asked just then, swerving her head to see what Daciana was seeing.
As soon as she spotted the triplets, her face lit up and she rushed to them, her arms spread wide.
"Kellen!" She squeaked, wrapping her arms around his body.
Daciana's face remained expressionless as she stared at Hailey catching up with the triplets.
However, the smile on Kellen's face as he hugged Hailey back made her stomach turn.
"We can go now if you want." Elena held her hand just then, forcing her to turn her gaze to her.
Daciana paused, glancing back at Hailey and the triplets. But as tempting as her friend's offer was...
"No, Elena." Daciana shook her head, a sly smirk curling up her lips. "That's exactly what they want. To frustrate me into rejecting them before I've even fulfilled my plans. But that's not going to happen."
She proceeded to ball her hands into fists, glaring coldly at Kellen when he smirked at her as he hugged Hailey.
Talk about obsessed...
Anyway, the group made their way to Daciana and Elena, causing murmurs to erupt from the other students in the hallway.
"So, the rumors are true?"
"What do you mean by 'rumors'? Didn't you attend the moonball last night?"
"So, wait... The Omega is actually their mate?"
"What does she have that the rest of us don't? She's a wolfless loser after all!"
Sigh, this was getting old and Daciana didn't even bother listening to their judgemental words.
"What's up, mate?" Axel greeted Daciana with a mischievous smirk, smacking one of the girls he held on her ass.
Daciana sucked on her teeth but mirrored his smirk with one of her own. "I'm thriving, Axel. How were classes today? I hope you didn't miss me much?"
Her smirk widened when she saw the little twitch on Axel's eyebrows which he tried to hide behind the smug smirk on his face.
"Miss you?" Kellen sniggered, causing Daciana to glance at him. "Dream on, Omega. The only thing any of us can think of now is how we can get you to reject us. To free us from the embarrassment of being mated to–"
"Don't." Daciana interrupted, stepping forward and looking into Kellen's eyes. "Don't even go there, Kellen. Whatever embarrassment you're getting right now isn't my doing. And like I keep saying... I loathe you three more than you loathe me."
Suddenly, Alan, who was usually silent, chuckled amusingly, stunning Daciana for a bit.
"Right..." He muttered, scoffing to himself. "You loathe us but yet here you are, trading words with these two like middle schoolers."
Alan paused, scanning his gaze around with an indifferent look before rolling his eyes. "If you guys need me, I'll be waiting in the car outside."
With that, he walked away, leaving the rest of them there.
"What's his deal?" One of the girls that Axel held in his arms asked, running her hands from his chest to his neck.
Axel chuckled, bringing his face close to hers and using his nose to barely touch hers. "Axel has always been that way, love. Let's not think about that. I have so many new moves I want to try out with you."
The girl giggled, biting her lips and using her tongue to lick Axel's nose in a way that made Daciana's skin crawl.
"Okay..." She coughed, diverting her gaze away from them. "I guess I'll join Alan in the car outside."
Without another word, she turned away from them, gritting her teeth in a strained effort to control the anger swelling in her.

Back at the palace, at night, Daciana tried to read through some books she'd borrowed from the library in her room.
However, there was one problem with that...
"Yes, yes, yes!"
"You like that, huh? Tell Daddy Axel how much you like it!"
"I love it! Yes, do that thing with your tongue, Axel!"
Yup... Axel brought those girls home and was having some 'fun' with them in his room.
Daciana could've sworn that she couldn't care less, but with each moan, with each grunt and scream and excited giggle... Her mind was descending lower and lower into insanity.
"Argh!" She groaned in frustration, rushing her hands through her hair. "They've been at it for an hour now. Gosh, how much stamina does that guy have?"
As soon as she thought about that, her face heated up with a blush.
Her mind took her back to when he smacked their asses at school.
She didn't know why, but she found it hot… but also infuriating.
"Oh, I know WHY I'm feeling like this." Daciana clicked her tongue, folding her arms in front of her chest and tapping her foot on the ground. "The mate bond. This is the mate bond making me feel jealous."
The i***t was definitely trying to frustrate her, but Daciana wasn't going to fall for it.
Instead, she stood up, headed to her door, and barged out of the room, her chest rising and falling in anger.
"Hey!" She yelled, banging at Axel's door. "Can you keep it down there?! We haven't even had dinner yet and–"
Suddenly, the door swung open, causing Daciana to gasp when she saw the scene in the room.
