    Walking into the conference room I immediately went to my chair at the head of the table. Brian sat in his chair off to my left. Ricky sat next to him, then Josh and then Travis. On my right side I had my father sit down then Brock,  next to him was King KorTahl then the prince. Laila sat in the last chair at the end of the table. She had a giant stack of papers sitting in front of her. When I saw this I knew it was going to be a long meeting. 

"Alright who wants to start first with what you found?" I asked looking between Travis and Laila. She stood up and handed each of us a folder then started. 

"Alpha, we were able to save around 115 people from that hellhole. As you can see most of their ages are from 10-45 years of age. Some though are younger. My guess is that they were born in there. Now the  younger once don't show any signs of r**e they're malnourished and have been conditioned to not look anyone in the eyes or to speak to anyone. I suggest that we get more therapist here to help. We're going to need all the help we can get to be honest. We're also going to need more doctors and nurses not to mention more supplies. The hospital is very low now. The older ones from 10-45 show signs of r**e on top of everything else I told you about the younger kids. Now we've done what we can for all of them, but their going to need rest and a place that they will feel safe in. I am not saying our pack isn't safe at all so don't give me that look or attempt to growl at me not even once mister! If you want I can get with my coven that's here and we can get a protection shield put in place around the territory. We can have it done in 2 or 3 days." 

"A protection shield? What the hell is that and why didn't we have one before?" Josh asked what we were all thinking of asking her. 

"In theory and I do mean theory Joshua Nickels, it would accentually be an invisible barrier surrounding the pack lands to keep evil out. Anyone or anything that wished to harm anyone within the barrier would not be allowed to enter. However I don't know if it's even possible to pull off in the first place! I have no idea what all we would need to put it up or to hold it in place. Do you have any idea how many books I've searched in the last 2 days to find the answer on how to do it. Huh do ya? Ya bloody smartass! I haven't been to sleep since all of this s**t happened instead I've been awake dealing with all the aftermath of this bullshit that people feel the need to create and harm innocent children and people!" Laila snapped at Josh and with each word her voice raised in volume. Her eyes changing violet and black with sparks flying from her hair and hands. I linked my everyone except for the king and the prince. "And that right there is why I try to stay on her good side and not piss her off. Brian go calm her down and possibly sedate her so she can get some sleep please. The last thing we need is another lighting storm where half our conference room is destroyed." Brian went over to Laila and pulled her into his arms as he sat back down next me. Within seconds she was fast asleep. 

"Well son, I do believe that we may have to move here. That was delightfully entertaining if I must say so myself!" the king said to Bael while chuckling. "Robbie, I will send word to our people that you are in need of extra hands and supplies. We will provide whatever you need. I will also reach out to the other kingdoms and see what they are willing to help with if that will help you and your people?" he looked over at me smiling. "Thank you King KorTahl. That would be great. I will have Brian get you a list of everything that will be helpful or needed." "Travis it looks like your up now." Travis sighed and went over to the projector and plugged the IPAD into it and then started the show. 

"Well to start off boss man. No we didn't kill everyone when we raided that dump. We still have about 20 other people we need to find and bring here to kill. The majority were at the mansion when we got there. Everyone has a list of names for who we need to get. Next I found several accounts of hidden money in different banks all over the world. I've already pulled it all out and put it in a safe account for all the victims. This way if they want to start fresh they will have the means to do so. All of the duchcanoes properties and investments have been seized and taken care of as well. In total there is $575.25 billion dollars set up for all them between the accounts, the investments and the property I mean. The bad news is that a few of these guys are in the human realm. And I don't know if we can get to them. I have no idea on how they got over here or back. But I will figure it out and when I do I will let you know." Stunned silent I just looked at him. "f**k! How many are over there?" "Well 5 are over there. The rest are here in hiding now." Bael looked at all of us and then stood up, "Well I don't know about you gentlemen but I need a drink and then food." off he went out the door. I put my head in my hands and groaned. Linking Beth our head chef, "Beth can you please bring 9 helpings of dinner to the conference room and about 12 bottles of scotch please I beg of you!" "Hahaha sure thing Robs I was already on it but I'll add the scotch and some pain killers for your headache because I know the only time you want that many bottles of scotch you have a raging migraine from hell. I'll be there in about 5 minutes with everything." She cut the link. "Travis man Beth is on her way in here now with food, scotch and painkillers." "Yes! Please let her have made steaks with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob with her brownies! If that's what she made I'll get her the best anniversary present ever!" he gleefully said as he jumped up from his seat to get the door.        "Oh sweetheart thank you for getting the door for me." Beth told Travis giving him a quick kiss then pushing the tray into the room. God the smell from the food was mouthwatering delicious! She had in fact made everything that Travis had asked for. I linked him, "Looks like your gonna need to get her whatever the hell she wants for your anniversary man. Good luck with that." I cut the link and then dug into my dinner finishing it almost immediately. Getting up to put my plate back on the cart I grabbed a glass and was about to pour myself some scotch when Bael came back into the room with a box of something. The king started laughing. "So that's what you went to go and get was it. Splendid idea son. Here you sit down and I will pour all of us a glass of elixir." Bael sat down and dug into his plate as I handed the king glasses off the cart. He handed me a glass, then held his up for a toast. "Well Robbie. I want to thank you for finding Liliana. We searched everywhere. All the rumors we heard we checked. Nothing panned out. Honestly, I had about given up hope on ever finding her. Then SylZa received the message from Rillifane that she had been found. He told her to come here and showed her an image of Liliana then an image of you. You have my deepest respect and gratitude. I don't know if I will ever be able to repay you for what you've done." "King KorTahl, I would do anything for her. I already love her and I will do anything for her. I'd do anything to make sure that she stays safe and nothing bad ever happens to her again. If I could take away all her past pain and suffering I would in heartbeat." He clinked his glass with mine then downed it so I did as well. "Robbie please call me either Kor or grandfather or grandpa. You're family now wither you like it or not. But I couldn't have asked for anyone else to keep her safe or to be her mate and have her heart. On that note. When I hand the thrown over to Bael I was hoping you would let me and SylZa move here so that we can spend time with Liliana and of course you." He asked me as he poured more elixir into our cups. " That's fine with me. I'm sure Liliana will love knowing that her family truly want her and want to spend time with her. As for calling you grandpa or grandfather can we settle on sir for now?" "Hahaha of course son that is fine with me. It is whatever you are comfortable with for now. But once you are married I expect to be called grandpa by you and Liliana and papa from your children." he pointed his finger at me then slapped me on the back. Talking with everyone as we sat and got to know each other I had decided it was enough and I was ready to be next to my mate. "Well everyone I am going back to Liliana's room. Would you like me to show you to your rooms?" KorTahl and Bael said no they knew where to go, so I headed to the Liliana. As I stepped into her room my mother got up, "I sent everyone to their rooms already sweetie. Please get some rest tonight and remember that I love you. Good night sweetie." with that she kissed my cheek then went to find my father and drag him to their room they have here. I sat down next to Liliana and just took in her beauty. I ran my hand down her cheek brushing back some hair from her forehead. I leaned over and kissed her head telling her goodnight. I laid my head down beside her inhaling her sent and finally for the first time in days I fell into a peaceful sleep.
