As we stood there waiting on entrance to the wolfs territory my wife looked at me. "My love, do you think she will be angry with us? Will she want anything to do with us?” She looked so worried, I didn’t know what to say to her because I didn’t know myself. I pulled her to me as I looked at our sons. We had been able to watch them all grow up into fine men, but I had always longed for us to have a daughter. When my love told me she was pregnant again I was happy, but when I found out we were having a little girl I became excited. None of the royal fairies had daughters, they all had boys. She was going to be the first princess of fairies to ever be born. My parents threw a huge celebration when we told them the news. Every fairy rejoiced for our little princess. We sent word to my in-laws about our Liliana. They were just as excited as we were. The day Liliana was born was the happiest day of our lives. Our boys were even excited to get a little sister.

My wife sent word that she had gone into labor with our daughter. The boys and I rushed to the hospital and waited. Her labor was long and difficult. I paced the hallway in worry. My father and mother walked over to me. “Son, they will be ok. She knows what to do and our doctors are the best we have around, plus her father and mother sent doctors from their realm. Their both in good hands.” My mother said to me. I nodded knowing she spoke the truth every time my love was pregnant her father would send the same doctors to help take care of her. It eased all our minds to know her and the babies were looked after so well. The doctor came out and gave us the good news that both were doing well and we could go see them. I ran into the room followed by our sons. When I first laid eyes on my baby girl all I could feel was happiness. She looked so beautiful and peaceful laying in my loves arms. “My love would you like to hold our daughter and show her all her big brothers?” I smiled at my love and took our daughter into my arms. I held her close to me and whispered so only she could hear me,” My beautiful daughter I will do everything in my power to make sure you are protected and happy all the days of your life! You will want for nothing my little princess I love you so much already!” I showed her all her brothers and she squealed with delight at each of them. I handed her to our oldest son and went to my love and just held her. “Thank you my love. Thank you for giving me 5 sons and now a daughter. Thank you for accepting me as your mate and for loving me even with all my faults. You have blessed me far more then I could have ever expected or wished for my love.” I kissed her gently on her lips and looked at her with all the love I had for her. Everyone came to see and welcome our beautiful princess into the world. The day we were to bring her home we stood outside her room talking to the doctors about how she’d been doing. I heard her start to cry and then suddenly stop. I went into her room only to find it empty with the window open. My love and everyone else in the family came in as my love screamed bloody murder. We got together and sent out search parties. We heard nothing about her. Then as the years went by we finally got word that a wolf had saved her. As we made preparations to go and get her our goddess, Aine, came to see us. Telling us to bring everyone and she would take care of the traitors we had.

So here we are standing at the border of the wolfs pack awaiting our daughter. I looked up as I heard a group approaching, and there in the front was my little girl all grown up. She looked just as beautiful as her mother. My wife started to walk to her as she said “Liliana. Oh my precious baby girl!” She took off running to our daughter. My sons and I started to walk to her. The man standing beside her growled slightly as a warning. I looked at him and then back to my wife and daughter. They were both crying into each other’s arms. I ignored the warning and rushed to their side just holding them both to me I began to cry as well. “Oh my beautiful princess! We’ve searched all over for you! We never gave up hope that you were alive! I’m so so so sorry my baby girl that I didn’t keep my promise of protecting you. I’m so truly sorry how can I ever make it up to you?” I sobbed out. She pulled slightly away and just looked at me. I stared into her eyes begging her to not pull away and to tell me what I could do to make it up to her. She reached her hand out and placed it on my cheek,” You don’t have to do anything to make it up to me. I know it wasn’t your fault I was taken. I just want to get to know you all and spend time with all of you.” She smiled at me and I just pulled her into another hug. This time I would do anything to protect my baby girl. I would make sure nothing bad happened to her ever again even if it killed me.

We finally pulled apart and my little princess smiled at us and then looked at her brothers. “Are you all my brothers?” She asked quietly in wonder. My love laughed and nodded her head at her. Our sons came over and pulled her into a hug telling her they would do better to protect her and they were so happy we had her back. I looked over at the man who walked up with my little princess. I knew this was going to be an interesting meeting, but I wasn’t going to give up my little girl not ever again. I steeled myself and walked up to him extending my hand out to him,” Hello, my name is Prince Valor, I am Liliana’s father. Thank you for rescuing her.” He looked me up and down as he shook my hand in return. “ my name is Robbie I am the Alpha of the White Paw Pack here. You and your people are welcome to stay here as are the rest of you. When we get back I’d like all the leaders to gather for a very important meeting” with that he walked over to Liliana wrapped his arm around her and walked off.
