             I stepped into my mates room and sat in the chair beside her. My family surrounded me as we looked at my sleeping mate. Her face was covered in bruises, and the rest of her that we could see were also covered in bruises and old scars. Shaking my head I look at my father and ask him. “Dad how could anyone do this? What kind of sick twisted monsters could do this to someone so pure and innocent?” My father looked at me and said, “ I don’t know son. But I think I know who your mate is if you haven’t guessed it already.” Startled my eyes go wide. Shaking my head no, he sighs and continues. “ Son, your mate is the lost Elvish/Fairy princess. I do not know her name but she is the princess of that I’m sure.” Brian asks what we’re all thinking,” Sir how can you be so sure she’s the princess?” We all look to my father waiting for him to explain his thinking. “Well to start off we will all need to be siting for this. It is rather long.” He starts off as he sits in a chair on the right side of my mate so he can see everyone in the room. My brother and sister sat in chairs at the end of the bed while our mother went and sat in our fathers lap. Brian pulled up a few of the chairs so that he and Laila could sit beside me. His father and mother sat beside them as we all looked at my father. I linked Brian, “ We will info the rest of the gang after we hear what he has to say. For now let’s see what is going on.” “I agree with you. Your dad has never looked like he was nervous, scared, and tired all at the same time for as long as I’ve known him. I’m with you Robbie on whatever you want to do here.” I nodded to him while still looking at my father. “ For you all to understand I have to take you to when it all began. Long ago before we were even thought of the gods and goddesses roamed our world. There was 12 in total who lived in harmony filling our world with life. Each one gave us something of their own creation. Atargatis, the goddess of mermaids gave us our oceans, rivers, lakes, and streams. Rillifane, the god of the elves gave us our forests. Aine, goddess of the fairies gave us wildlife on land and in the waters. Bahamut, god of the dragons gave us the sun and volcanos. Selene, goddess of the moon and wolves gave us of course the moon. Angelos, goddess of the angels gave us the stars and the heavens. Hecate gave us the sky and fertile land. Empusa, the goddess of vampires gave us the night and day so that the sun and moon would shine brightly. Asmodeus, the god of demons gave us the galaxies and gravity. Now those are only nine of the gods and goddesses. Aita, is the god of the underworld. He gave us the underworld where all evil souls go to be punished. Moradin, is the god of the dwarfs. He gave us all our mountain ranges. And the last one Dione, she is the goddess of mystery. She gave us shadows, mythical animals. I don’t know to much about the last 3 gods and goddess except that they vanished from time. Or so the story goes. One day the gods and goddesses were out walking when they came to the opening of a cave at the base of a mountain. They heard yelling and screaming coming from inside the cave. All the gods and goddesses took off to see what was going on. The further they got to the bottom the darker the cave seemed to get. Finally they came upon all their first born children protecting Dione and Aita. Valdro the first dragon shifter was breathing fire out of his mouth while Astira the first vampire was swiping at a black darkness that was coming out of a crack in the earth. Galdom the first dwarf was using all his power to fill the hole with iron and dirt. Exis the first phoneix was using the wind from her wings to help keep the darkness back and to help Galdom fill the hole in. The gods and goddesses were shocked from what they were seeing. Bahamut started yelling at everyone to leave as he flung fire balls at the dark creature. Kneeling down him and Moradin placed their hands on the ground calling the minerals and fire to them so the hole was filled quickly. Seeing them busy Empusa gathered the children and ran to the opening of the cave. Once outside the children sat in a circling praying and sending their strength to those still in the cave. The mountain and ground began to shake sending boulders and rocks to fall on the ground. Hours went by when finally the shaking finally stopped. Dust and debris settled in the air and on the ground as the gods and goddesses came out of the cave. Bahamut was carrying Selene as Asmodeus helped Aine and Atargatis out of the cave. The other gods and goddesses followed carrying Exis, Galdom, Asteria, and Valdro. The gods and goddesses looked at each other with tears streaming down their faces. Bahamut and Asmodeus hit the mountain with everything they had sealing that cave up for all eternity. Soon after the gods and goddesses left our realm and went to the heavens to watch over all their and to grieve the loss of their fellow gods and goddess. Centuries past, wars broke out among all the children. Evil started rearing its ugly head. Then one day 518 years ago a prophecy was foretold to the king and queen of the fairies.  "On a night as dark as black, a child will be born. She will have snow white hair, ruby red lips, and as fair as the moon. On the eve of Mabon she will be born. Guard her well or destruction will be fall her. Hair as dark as night. Eyes of crystal blue born during Yule, only he can truly save her. Beware and be warned death will come to those who do not heed this warning. All will prosper with her grace, or all shall be ruined with her despair.' The king and queen didn't worry about the prophecy once their son was born and soon forgot about it. 100 years ago the first born prince of the King and Queen of fairies found his mate the princess of the Elves. Slowly they started to have their children. Prince Valor and Princess Eilyania had five boy, Gallor, Valdam, Axis, Acklum, and finally Ordin. Then 18 years ago they had a daughter. Two days after her birth, they were standing outside talking with the doctors when someone snuck in the window and kidnapped her as she slept. The prince and princess have searched everywhere for her as well as the kings and queens of fairies and elves. I know in my heart that the young woman laying in this bed is that princess son." My father finished what he had to say leaving all of us gawking at him. We've never heard of dragons or dwarfs. Let alone the other 3 gods and goddess. As I went to say something to my father I felt a disturbance on the eastern boarder. I linked Max since he was the lead patrolling that boarder. "Max what is going on the boarder?" "Alpha, there are carriages currently stationed right outside our boarder. I can't tell what they are except for the horses sir. I'm sorry" I linked back, "That's fine keep an eye on them and if they try to cross onto our land you hold them off until I get there with our warriors. Is that understood?" "Yes Alpha!" he replied back. Standing up I told everyone in the room, "Stay here and guard her and those that are injured. Brian lets go!" Running out of the run and around corners and down the hallways I linked my warriors, " Attention all warriors! I need 75 of you to head to the eastern boarder now! 50 of you guard the hospital and all the injured. The rest of you guard the children and the elderly! Now move it!" choruses of "Yes Alpha" could be heard through the link. "Every one stay on alert until I give the order otherwise is that clear White Paw Pack?" "Yes Alpha sir" was all I heard as Brian and I went threw the doors of the hospital shifting into our wolves. "Kalan keep an eye out we don't know who is here or what they want. We don't know if their friend or foe yet either." "Kid you must think I'm pup and new to this." he huffed at me in response as we got closer to the eastern boarder.
