Chapter 26: Keeping Us Together
“I will go ask her if she needs any help,” Sabrina says. David clears his throat and looks at Sabrina. “No… You can keep doing your work I’ll take care of that.” David turns and walks towards the door without looking behind at Sabrina. As soon as he walks out of the restaurant a feeling of guilt washed over him as if he has lied to Sabrina even though he hasn’t said anything to her but hiding it had the same feeling of lying. He didn’t want her to think anything bad about him and he liked to stay an ordinary person around her and this moment would have ruined just because of Katherine.
