Chapter 30: Scared of Losing
Sabrina woke up the next morning with a heavy head due to lack of sleep last night. Her thoughts wandered towards David and it kept her awake the whole night. Her mother came home late at night while she was already in bed although she wasn’t asleep, she pretended to when she noticed that her mom came inside the room to check up on her. But what she found unusual about her mother was that she stayed beside her bed quite for a long time while holding her hand, protectively. She remembered when her father died; her mother would hold her the same way as if Sabrina would disappear any second if she let her go, it was when she had a lot on her mind.
