Parking my car in my driveway I picked up everything I had but not before counting my money.

"10, 20, 45 . . ." I kept counting until I reached up to 920 damn I made this in just 3 hours. I folded the money up and put it back inside my bag.

I stepped inside my house to see rose petals laid out in a trail leading to Vani's and my bedroom. I got inside and Vani was lying in bed with black boxers listening to slow jam music. 'Where's Juveriyan at?' I thought to myself.

"He's with Juverie at your dad's place so is Shade '' he must've read my mind or I think I said it out loud.

"What is all this?" he shrugged while I smiled.

"I wanted to show you how much I want you baby" he leaned in to kiss me, his kisses always turned me on so much.

I started stripping out of my clothes until I was fully naked letting my hair hang low. His eyes looked so full of love and lust, I felt guilty that I couldn't tell him about where I was and what I was doing but right now I need to put that to the back of my head and focus on us at this moment. I got on top of him and his body tensed a little but loosened up when I rubbed my fingers through his hair, he licked his lips and started attacking my face with kisses.

"You . . . are . . . still . . . so . . . hot" biting my lip asking for entrance that I granted.

We had s*x for about two hours (with breaks).

7 Months later

I've been working at the strip club for 8 months now, and I kind of like it. I mean the girls are cool. Tonight Ellena is watching Juveriyan because I have to go to work (Strip) and Vani is going out for boys' night with our homeboys and some dudes I don't know.

Waiting for my turn to go strip I fixed my hair with my fingers.

"Everyone give it up for Desire" I walked out on stage when 'Strip Club' By Tink came on.

All the men and a small number of women clapped and cheered. I smirked while making my way to the pole doing my thing, shaking my ass. Facing the crowd who was throwing money at me some white boy got up and stormed out and so did a few of his boys that followed behind him. I shrugged my shoulders and kept doing my thang.

Getting off stage I made my way to Tori and another stripper friend named Libby. She's very gorgeous; caramel skin, thick like me, hazel eyes with a dark brown sugar like hair color.

I changed clothes and stuffed my money into my bag but I had to count first '375'. Before I could leave Libby stopped me when my hand was on the door knob by her loud ass mouth. I swear she acts just like Juverie and Retrica.

"Say hi to my husband for me" she yelled, I burst out laughing. This girl loves my son and she only sees pictures of him.

Walking out I stopped when I saw Vani standing there looking pissed off.

"N-Vani, what are you doing here?" I asked, getting nervous.

"Well I was out with the boys and we came here to see strippers, then I saw my girl up there stripping" he got louder making me flinch in fright. I mean I saw him mad at me but not this mad.

"If you let me f*****g explain, you'll understand and not get mad" I raised my voice back at him to let him know he's not just going to yell at me like I'm his little b***h.

"Now let's go to my car so I can tell your ass why I'm stripping" I said moving past him, I knew he was following me because I heard his big ass.

Sighing I threw my stuff in the back seat then got into the driver seat. Vani got in slamming the door behind him . . . guessing he's still mad.

"Don't slam my damn door" rolled my eyes at me.

"Whatever now tell me!" I sighed before telling him, after I told him I'm going to really have to protect my family because January might come after us or get someone.

"I wanted to talk here so he wouldn't hear me" I said looking out my windows. Vani gave me a confused but still angry look.

"Who's he?"

"A . . . January he's back and he's blackmailing me" I began to shed a few tears.

"Wait, how the hell does he know you're back?" I didn't answer, I just kept to the story.

"The day you got me Shade was the day it happened I met him at Starbucks but I didn't know it was him that was texting me, after he told me about a stripping job I said no but he said he'll kill Juveriyan or you or even worst give him away to my mom who is a druggie and can easily sell him if I tell or not take the job" I was crying I been holding in these tears for so long. By the time I was done I didn't make eye contact with Vani . . . I just couldn't.

"Baby why didn't you tell me?" he asked, rubbing my back.

"Because I just said he'll kill or take Juveriyan if I tell, I mean yes he's younger than all of us but damn he knows how to get under my skin . . . and dammit Vani all he wants is me so he'll do anything to have me" his eyes hardened with sadness and full out anger.

"Look you're not going back to that place okay no if's and's or but's" with that I just sighed because I knew if I said something, I would still be stuck at home or at my dad's house.

Not saying a word, I just started the car and drove home. I knew Ellena was probably tired and it's too late to drive home so in case that happened I told her to bring an overnight bag. Vani didn't say anything he was in his thoughts I guess because he normally just looks out the window when that happens.

Getting into the house Ellena was knocked out on the couch with my baby boy laid out on his blanket and Shade just jumping up and down happy to see us.

"You go put Ellena and Juveriyan to bed, I'm going to change, then we can continue our talk" I said, picking up Shade and walking back to the bedroom.

I heard him sigh but I didn't care, closing the door behind me I put Shade on the floor and walked over to my closet and poured out all the money I made tonight onto the carpet floor and began counting again. I rolled up my money and placed it inside one of the three shoe boxes of money I had. Changing into my blue and yellow plaid pajama pants and a yellow tank top I put my hair in a loose bun then grabbed the shoe boxes and sat on the bed with shade waiting for Vani to come back in.

He walked back in the room a few minutes later, taking off his shirt showing all his tattoos on his chest and arms then took off his jeans leaving him just in boxers. I rolled my eyes knowing that he turned me on.

"Now as I was saying you're not going back there and for now on I want to know where you are at all times and if you lie I will make you wear a tracking device until I know he's out of your way for good" I looked at him like he was stupid, why a tracking device though? But I mean he was right though and he only wants to keep me safe so why not?

"Fine okay at least my family will be okay . . . but if he comes looking for me?" I asked, rubbing Shade's stomach, seeing her drift off to sleep in my arms.

"If he comes looking, use your gun baby, now what's in these boxes?" changing the subject.

I couldn't help but smile "This . . . is all the money I made from stripping for the past 8 months I made up to about 600 or more every night and it's a total of 165,000, it would've been more but bills and everything" I looked over to his shocked expression that made me laugh. Vani's always been the type to love money. He did whatever he could to get what he wanted, and to support his family, even my family.

"Damn baby you made all this? We need to put this in a bank, some for Juveriyan and the rest for needs or emergencies" he replied looking at the money avoiding my eye contact.

He was the type of dude that's like "Money first sleep later" so all this money is just a few steps up to having a better life for him and I, we been through a lot in our lives; from drug selling, gang fights, shooting, jail time, everything so now it's time for us to be happy.

"Vani I know it's not the perfect time but I still want to get married" I half smiled waiting for his reply. He looked up to me with the biggest smile I had ever seen from him.

"Are you serious because I can go get the ring from my bag right now" he said rushing off the bed causing me to laugh when he almost tripped over the bed sheets.

Before I could answer he ran to his side of the closet throwing things on the floor going crazy.

"I found it!" He said breathless from all that running around.

I smiled down at the little blue box, can't believe he actually kept this after all this time he still kept the ring I threw at him and the little box. He really does love me.

"Vanika" he said, making me stop all my lovey dovey thoughts and look up into his green eyes full of love.

"Yes" I said softly, holding his hand that was on my thigh.

"I know what you're thinking, why did I keep this? I kept it because I knew one day I would get you back and now that I have you back I never want to lose you so Vanika would you marry me . . . again?" He chuckled on the last part and so did I. This time I didn't cry but my heart did speed up faster and I felt butterflies forming.

"Yes I would love to again" taking the ring out the box I placed it on my finger I missed my ring so much.

"Now that we settled things let's go to bed, it's been a long day" he got off the floor kissing my forehead then placed the money boxes back in the closet.

I put Shade down so she could get in her bed on the floor and got under the sheets with a smile plastered on my face. I felt the other side of the bed sink knowing that it was Vani's heavy ass.

"Goodnight babe"

"Goodnight" I soon went to sleep

"So you mean to tell me you guys are engaged again?" Retrica asked while painting her toenails.

"Yes he asked me yesterday" I sighed, I was telling these girls over and over but they kept asking.

Tonight I'm having a slumber party with the girls like we used to do but this time I invited Tori and Libby to come and meet the others. Vani is at home with the other men while Juveriyan is chilling with his grandma (Vani's mom) right now we are at my dad's house in my room painting our nails talking about everything that we could possibly think of.

"Wait so you were engaged before with him, what happened?" Libby asked, getting excited to hear my answer. This girl loves knowing things.

"Well long story short he was cheating on me while we were engaged then I moved away, had the baby then came back" I shrugged continuing to paint my nails.

"Hey y'all never told us about your selves" Leah came out of nowhere pointing at both Tori and Libby smiling.

Every eyeball was now facing towards them two.

"Yeah say something about yourselves" Juverie joined it looking up from her phone with an unreadable expression. I decided to just leave it and ask her later.

"Well I guess I'll go first" Libby said clapping her hands together "I'm 21 I used to live in Ohio, I started stripping when my mother kicked me out at 17 for having too many fights and causing trouble, so I moved down here homeless. I have a 1 year-old daughter Lauren and now I'm just looking for a stable place for a while" she finished with a huge sigh and a sad face but soon changed with a happy one.

"Hey, you can live here. I mean our dad wouldn't mind, he loves helping, especially one of our friends," Juveriya said.

"No I couldn't, that's too much" , shaking her head looking down to the ground.

"Oh hush you are staying here you can move in whenever you want, plus I live here and Juverie" she pointed over to where Juverie was who quickly nodded.

"Thanks so much, I'm going to have to call her father to go pack up our things tomorrow"

"Thanks great and your boyfriend or baby's father can meet our boys" I said putting on lip gloss.

Libby pulled out her phone to show us a picture of Lauren. She was to die for so precious, she will be a heartbreaker; gray eyes probably from her dad, my skin color with short curly hair and plump lips and fat cheeks. I fell in love with her, every girl in the room was in 'aw'

"She gets most of her looks from her White/Mexican father" she blushed, I could tell she's in love with her man.

"Hey hey hey y'all forgetting about me" Tori played.

"Right, what's your story?" Micheal said plopping onto the couch beside my bed, sitting in Indian style.

"Well all my family basically live in Italy I moved here with my cousin Ladder y'all might know him but anyway I'm only stripping because my dad took all my money out because I wouldn't do this stupid arrange marriage" she shrugged rolling her eyes.

I was shocked I didn't know people still arranged marriages? Why would people want to do that? I mean that's just wrong. Why can't they find love themselves?

"And when you say Ladder you mean Ladder Shore?" Ellena asked, closing her magazine she was reading.

"Yeah I live with him now"

Changing into our pajamas we all met in the family room to watch movies. We packed all the junk food on the table that consisted of pizza, popcorn, candy, brownies and different types of sodas.

"Okay so we're down to three movies to pick from" Micheal said holding up the three movies "Pitch Perfect, Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 and The Vow"

Retrica, Leah and Sehdev picked The Vow.

Ellena, Juverie, Micheal and I picked Pitch Perfect.

While Libby, Juveriya and Tori picked Twilight.

PITCH PERFECT WON!! The movie was so good I saw it over 10 times. Hearing the losers groan Micheal put in the movies then sat beside me. Everyone was laughing at Fat Amy and Lily the whole time plus singing to the songs until my phone went off. I got up and went out of the room so I wouldn't be rude.

"Hello" I didn't bother looking at who was calling.

"Hello yes this is nurse Chelsea and I'm calling because I found this number in Nichole's phone under daughter three so I called it but anyway she is in the hospital" the nurse said I got silent for a minute. Why should I go up there?

"I called your dad I guess that's him but he didn't answer but she was asking to see her family"

"I'll be there in 15 minutes" I said before I hung up the phone. I sighed loudly before walking back into the room.

I went straight to the DVD player and paused the movie.

"Hey!" "What the f**k?"

"Shut up and Javeria Javeria we need to go to the hospital. Our 'mother' is in there" I said, putting on my UGG boots not caring about the clothes I'm wearing right now, I'm just ready to get this visit over with.

"Why is your mom a b***h?" Libby asked, stopping both my sisters and I in our tracks.

Both my sisters looked at me nodding their heads for me to tell her. I rolled my eyes and began to tell her what I told everyone else.

"Long story short she always loved money and put work first so she then cheated with her boss and then got on crack when her boss didn't want her no more, so Juverie then fought her because of that" I said with a shrug, because I didn't feel bad for seeing her ass get beat, I mean yeah she's my mom but she never acted like it so I just treat her less than what she's supposed to be.

"Damn girl but aye we'll be here when you get back" Tori smiled I hugged her saying thank you. I'm so happy I have girlfriends that are there with me through everything.

"Juverie called daddy and Nate to meet us there" she nodded and quickly started dialing numbers.

"Micheal lock up" I pointed to Micheal who already knew her job when it comes to emergencies.

I grabbed my car keys and cell phone and followed my sisters out the house.

The ride was silent, no one was talking, the only thing you could hear was the radio playing. I was so pissed I dislike this woman so much it doesn't make sense. She only loves money . . . well now she loves crack. All I wanted was for her to act like a mother to me instead of acting like someone who never wanted me. I was the only one who had a real problem with her, Nate couldn't have a problem with her because he barely knew her and my sisters don't like her because she ruined our family and hurt dad. I of course have more reasons than anyone.

Pulling up to the hospital I parked in the closest spot possible because I wasn't planning on staying long. The nurse told us the directions to the room but she had an attitude with it so I had to check her ass quickly.

When we got there Nate was out sitting in a chair texting on his phone.

"Hey where's dad?" he just pointed to mom's room.

Nate didn't say a word the whole time we were out in the hallway just looking at his phone with a straight face.

"Hey what's wrong?" I moved closer to him, I love my brother I hate when he's down.

"Amber left me but not before cheating and burnt half my clothes because she thought I was cheating" before I could say something he threw his phone to the other side of the room making the screen crack.

Nate was pissed and so was I because nobody f***s with my family.

"It's okay I'll talk to her" I said putting on a fake smile but inside I was boiling with anger that b***h is going to get it.

I got up and walked over to my other siblings who were on their phones.

"Aye we are beating that cheating Amber ass for breaking Nate's heart" I said folding my arms trying to hold in the anger.

"Okay cool tomorrow at 11" Juverie said calmly, shooing me away. We haven't been in a fight since . . . I don't even remember.

I walked into my drugged up mom room to see her watching TV, two IV needles in her arm and a band aid on her forehead. She looked at me and rolled her eyes then turned off the TV.

"What the f**k you doing here" she snapped I flinched a little but not too much.

"Cause the nurse called me to come see your drug headed ass" I snapped back crossing my arms leaning against the wall.

"Well you see me now leave" she turned away from me looking out the window, I felt kind of bad but now is the perfect time to get some answers.

"Nope not until you tell me why you hate me so much" I saw her stiffen up from the question.

"I hate you because you look better and stole my husband from me" I looked at her stunned, she was jealous of me for stupid reasons.

"Hold up you should hate the other two too because we look just like dummy, and that whole I took daddy away thing isn't working because you decided to cheat" her eyes widened but then soon turned into anger.

"You know what you only hated me, never them you made me do horrible things, and you were forceful with me on everything I did" I started crying.

"You used to come in my room at night and start hitting me for something I did wrong earlier that day and told me to never tell or else it would be worse" I screamed and pointed right at her. All the anger that was in her eyes turned into guilt but I didn't care.

"Out of the three of us you picked me to beat and hate, a mother shouldn't do that, I would never do that to my son so why Nichole why?" throwing the remote and anything else that was closest to me.

"Why dammit?

"Because I didn't want triplets, twins yes but never triplets so when you came out last I hated it, and took it out on you" she cried not looking my way.

I was shocked at the real reason why.

"Well thanks for telling me you never wanted me" I whipped my last few tears and walked out her room all I heard was my name being called by the women that never wanted me when I closed the door.

Everyone Was asking what was wrong with me when I got back home. Even the boys came over.I just stayed quiet, I left the slumber party down stairs where everyone was at and went to my room to cry like a big baby . . . tomorrow is a big day.

I got up right at 10 I turned over seeing Vani fast asleep I didn't want to wake him so I quietly slid out of bed and tiptoed to my closet to get my black khaki pants and a white shirt, I took out my all black Timberland's and ran to the bathroom for a quick shower.

Getting out I put on all my clothes I chose to wear and wrapped my hair in a high bun, putting on my sunglasses I left my room with a still sleeping Vani in bed. Making my way downstairs everyone was passed out on the floor. I had to take a few pictures of them then headed to the kitchen where my sisters were eating bacon. Juveriya looked ready to fight, same outfit as me but with a red shirt and Juverie with a black one.

"Y'all ready?" I asked to take some bacon off of Juverie's plate.

"Yeah if your big ass would stop eating off my plate" Juverie responded by slapping my hand away Juveriya just laughed.
