The same guy is now towering over a woman, yelling, while pointing a gun at her head. She fumbles for a few seconds and, in the end, shakily hands him some cash. After taking the money, he searches around rapidly and takes off towards the small wooded area semi-surrounding the school. As soon as he's out of sight, two security guards come from our building running around, I assume searching for the man.
This city really needs to get their law enforcement plans under control. Two robberies by the same guy in less than three hours? That's ridiculous. We all know the crime rate is so high that it's putting the birds to shame, but this is out of control. I'm not even affected by this anymore.
"I know what you mean, they really do," I hear Agastya mumble, still in shock of what he just witnessed.
What's he talking about? I didn't even say anyth—oh.
"Did I say that out loud?" I stare at him, confused.
He mirrors my gaze and shakes his head yes, slowly as if it was obvious.
I turn my gaze toward the floor with my eyebrows furrowed together. "Oh, I really gotta stop doing that then," I murmur more to myself, but I guess he hears me too because he starts to chuckle a little.
