But still, trying to think or at least make a simple becoming of my situation seemed impossible. After about 30 minutes of me standing, pacing, and sitting around trying to explain what has happened to me, the door quietly opened and Agastya popped his head in. "Varnika?" He scanned the room, taking in the monstrous mess, his dark hair slightly swishing. Then his eyes landed on me standing to the side of the doorway about four feet from him. I was doing good with not saying my thoughts out loud too! "I-d-uh, hmm?" I was blinking and stammering. This is so making me look like a loser. His smirk started to come back. "It's okay, Varnika. I know you like me." He emphasized the word 'like', as if he was teasing me as he took some steps closer, if that's even possible.
