Fey

1177 Words
In her immaculately ironed trouser suit, as she walked down the stairs from her room, Fey looked around her mansion slowly, turning to clearly imprint on her mind the details of every wall and its furnishing. As she turned, she smiled and mentally gave herself a pat on the back for her classic and superior taste in art, for in her travels she never failed to pick out the best art from only the best artists in the world. Trailing her hand on the rails, she looked down to watch as her hand moved over the rails, admiring the rich wood used in making the banisters and the little designs on them made that one could only see them if looked at closely and they are actually worth staring at. She looked up to the ceiling of the two-story mansion with the foyer open straight through at the chandelier which lights up like stars and is a sight to behold at night with the lights dimmed to give the foyer an outdoor feel. Whilst in her admiration she hadn't realized that she was being spoken to until she felt a presence behind her and turned round to see her housekeeper, Mira. A middle-aged woman who has been working for her for the last five years since she bought the property. "What"? She asked. "Good morning ma'am. I asked if I should serve your breakfast". Mira replied. "Good morning Mira. I'm not hungry, but because of the effort made I'll have a bite. Thank you." Mira nodded and left her to set the table while she took one last look around and moved on into the dining room to once again admire the design and furnishing before sitting at the head of the table where a steaming bowl of soup made from vegetables and a basket of fresh bread made into little round shapes was placed. Once again, her appetite was stimulated by the aroma of the food before her, as her chef, Liz always seemed to know just what to make at each time to coax her to eat. In five minutes, the bowl was empty and two of the loafs had been devoured by Fey, who initially told Mira that she wasn't hungry. Satisfied and ready to face the day, she picked up her purse, which had been placed by the ever-efficient Mira on the seat next to her while she ate, and headed out to the garage. Today must be special as she thought about her feelings, which she couldn't understand because of the sudden urge to take her time looking around her house and, like now, slowly admiring the rides she had acquired in such a short time. She wasn't really into fancy cars but she bought them because she was persuaded by her friends who loved and understood cars. So here she is silently judging which of the three cars to take today. Okay, three cars isn't too many, but she can only drive one at a time, right? So, she picked the one in grey as grey is her favorite color and proceeded to drive out of the garage. As she drove to the office, she thought of the past weekend and how she took the advice of her best friend Eric to take time and rest and she must admit, even though she wasn't keen on the idea when he first proposed it, that it was a good idea as she felt not just refreshed but mentally ready to take on the world. *At the office* After parking in her personal space in the basement of her office building, she was met by her assistant who greeted her and, without further ado, started listing out all her schedule for the day. "Whoa, slow down Pat. I've just come in, give me a minute before you foist work on me". What? Pat thought. I hope she is not looking for an excuse to fire me, as usually, if I do not immediately read out to her all her schedule, she wastes no time in telling me how much of an incompetence I am. "How was your weekend?" Unsure of what was going on, it took him a few breaths to answer. "Fine. I mean it was fine. Thank you ma'am." As she entered her office, Fey took a deep breath and sat on her seat at the table before telling Pat to proceed. "This morning, your first meeting is in thirty minutes with the director of operations for briefing before the clients come by forty minutes later and then presentation to the clients." He continued till the last detail was passed across and waited for instructions on what to do next. "Thank you. Call Mr. Felix of B and B Holdings and schedule a lunch meeting so we can present our idea to him and ...." She didn't even get to finish what she was about to say when the door to her office was opened rudely by a beautiful, sexy, familiar-faced woman, who walked in like she had every right to be there and sat down on the sofa while asking Pat to leave them. He was still staring open-mouthed before it registered to him that they had just been interrupted by one of the most gorgeous women of her time besides his boss, who, of course, was oblivious to her looks and also the most dreaded business woman to enter into any office these days. With a smile on her face, Fey took her time to look at the intruder from the crown of her head to the sole of her feet. Observing her looks and her style, someone who hasn't heard of her prowess in business would think she pulled off deals by seducing clients and opponents. Fey saw her blonde hair with a streak of red in it which looked like it had been curled recently down to her beautiful face, made up using expensive makeup probably from known brands which gave her face a teenage look though she was far from being a teenager. Her eyes were a captivating green which looked like it held secrets, her nose was pointed and looked perfect, like it was made by a very perfect artist, if there's one. Her lips, Fey swallowed while looking at them, were painted a bright glossy red which made you want to kiss them to know if they tasted as good as they looked. She mentally shook her head at her thoughts and looked at the intruder's fit upper body, put on a sexy silk blouse which housed two beautiful, well-curved breasts screaming to be touched, then to her flat tummy. Because she was already sitting, it was difficult to see what she wore, as it was too short to be seen, but the legs... those endless legs were enough to make Fey drool. Her feet, put into unreasonably high red heels, looked well taken care of, and Fey thought of hiding hers as all she always cared about was work and not her body.
