Fey made her donation for the year's project and told her friends that she was leaving. They could not let her go alone and, since they had also made their donations, they had to leave with their friend. At the door heading out, Fey saw Mylie, Duke's ex-fiance, walk up to her from inside the city center. Fey had no way to know how Mylie came to be in attendance but she was pleasant to Mylie as they exchanged pleasantries. Mylie asked Fey if she could help take her (Mylie) home as her (Mylie) ride had left without her (Mylie). Fey told her that it would not be a problem, but first, Mylie would have to share a ride with Fey's friends so Fey could fetch her car from her friend's house.
The friends took the same position as on the ride to the ball but this time, Viv had company beside her. C
