Amara wanted her children to understand love differently from the way she once had.

Her daughter once asked, “Mom, how did you know Daddy was different?”
Amara smiled.
“Because he didn't just tell me he loved me. He showed me.”

On their wedding anniversary, Michael surprised Amara with flowers and a handwritten letter.
She opened it slowly.
“After all these years,” he wrote, “I still choose you.”
Amara smiled through tears.
She had received many letters in her life.
