"Jerome, please tell me that everything you just said was a joke," the leader said in a mild voice but you could hear the anger bubbling underneath the tone of his voice as he paced back and forth in the large tent.
Crystal and I had also been summoned to meet the leader, but he was only speaking directly to Jerome who had his face planted to the ground.
"It's not. Inside of me I wanted to save everyone but I calculated the logic of that…"
"So you calculated the logic?" The leader said, arching one of his eyebrows and crossing his hands together as he stood still looking at Jerome with cold eyes, I had never seen him this upset before.
