Connor's POV Natalie and I had been dancing so closely, had been so absorbed in each other that I felt the very moment her concentration drifted, and her body stiffened. I followed the direction of her gaze but saw nothing but other clubgoers. I didn’t notice anyone out of the usual, but she must have recognized someone.  “Natty, what is wrong?” I asked. Her focus now appeared to be on nothing as she stared off towards the entrance. She was gaping as if being hit by realization after realization as the dancing continued around us—concern built inside me as she continued to stare off into space.  Suddenly her gaze snapped to me as if she had just woken from a stupor. Her eyes were almost feverish in their intensity.  “Let’s get out of here.”  I had been ready to leave and spend the rest
