The Farfadet arrived less than two hours after I’d created the potion, which everyone took as a promising sign. In the same manner as the Lutines, they came marching across the bridge in columns of ten, five rows deep. They seemed more relaxed than the Lutines, and I was greatly relieved to learn that greeting them didn’t involve an endless round of bowing. The Farfadet were also small, in fact tinier than the Lutines, perhaps only two feet tall. Their wizened brown skin made them look ancient, but their uniformly blue eyes – a sharp contrast to the color of their skin – were amazing and twinkled with mischief.
