♤ Blaire ♤
''Blaire?'' It was Alexander when I turned around to see him.
''Hey,'' I waved.
He got off his horse and said, "What are you doing here? Didn't you have a mission?''
"I'm done with it. I was trying to find someone.''
''Who is it''? He questioned.
"My mate, I don't know her name. I swear I just saw her rushing here, but she has porcelain skin, white hair, and blue eyes," as I recollect her delicate features.
"I just met my mate as well, but a male who fits the same description as yours," he said.
"Who is he?" I inquired.
The moment I asked the question, a person approached us. I instantly bowed to the figure I knew, Queen Catherine (Alexander's mother).
"Alexander, we must bid the guests farewell."
He nodded and handed me the reins of his horse.
♡ Gabriella ♡
A footstep was heard, and I instantly glanced and saw Gabrielle departing the door. I quietly called Gabrielle, and he responded to my voice and hid straight in the bushes with me.
''Why are you in the bush?'' Gabrielle questioned.
"I was hiding from her," I remarked, pointing to the woman speaking with the man.
Then Gabrielle looked in the direction I indicated, and his eyes widened.
"T-that, m-MATE," he stuttered, practically shouting at the word mate. I covered his mouth immediately. I asked, "W-what do you mean he's your mate?"
"I m-met him," he murmured, "when you went to the restroom."
"L-get let's moving.'' He continued, with his eyes red and watery, "Mother is waiting for us.'' He squatted. When I turned to look at the woman, she had disappeared, and I felt disappointed. So I stood up, and then I followed Gabrielle.
----------------------------------------
Gabrielle leads the way as I follow him back to the party. We quickly approached our mother when we arrived. When we finally spotted her, we approached her, and she gave us a surprised expression.
''Where were you two?'' She inquired. She turned to face Gabrielle, then turned to face me.
Gabrielle said, "We were in the garden wandering around.'' He glanced at me as I turned to face Gabrielle.
"Why are you guys taking so long?" She remarked in a worried tone.
Gabrielle replied, "We were distracted by the sightseeing," and I nodded to convince Mother.
I realized Father and Isaac (Gabriella's brother) were gone as I glanced around the room.
I asked mother. "Where have Father and Isaac gone?"
''They had been searching for you guys. They were worried when they discovered both of you were gone when the event was nearly done.''
The sound of a door opening then follows. Turning back, I saw my father and brother approaching us rapidly and discreetly. They threw Gabrielle and I a hug immediately. They held us so fiercely that I nearly couldn't breathe. I patted their backs to let them know I was having trouble breathing. They quickly let go, and I drew a big breath.
''Where were you guys?'' My dad questioned.
I said, "We were exploring the garden, we got bored."
''Next time, ask for permission. We won't be worried. ''
I nodded along with Gabrielle.
"Shall we go now?'' Issac said, "Everyone is beginning to depart." We all nodded and proceeded to the exit.

We were in a queue waiting for a final farewell from the royal family of the Spade Kingdom. One by one, we're going ahead. We were two guests away from the king and the queen when a familiar sight drew my attention. He was standing in front of me. My hands started to tremble, and my legs were wobbly. I hold Gabriella for balance. She glanced at me at the sudden grasp.
''What's wrong?'' She questioned.
I was stuttering, so she couldn't understand me, so she glanced in the direction I was gazing at. She quickly places me beside her so that she can cover me. We were just one guest away from the greetings. When it was our turn, I tried to hide behind Gabriella and bowed, but of course, I was the same size as Gabriella, so I was still visible. I could feel him watching me, and goosebumps shot through my body. I was there shaking. I attempted to control it, but it was no success.
''Alice! (Gabrielle's mother).'' The queen said as she beamed and embraced my mother.
Oh, I forgot that they're childhood acquaintances.
''Where were you? I was searching for you,'' My mother asked.
''I apologize for my absence. I was searching for him,'' the queen replied as her hands went to the prince's shoulder. I could see from the corner of my eye he was staring at me with a bored face.
''Is this your son?'' my mom questioned.
''Ah, yes, this is Alexander.''
Alexander? I heard that name before. His demeanor softened, and he smiled at my mother.
''What a handsome young man.'' Mother complimented. I rolled my eyes.
''Who are these two?'' The queen questioned.
''Oh, this is Gabrielle and Gabriella.'' Mother pointing to us.
''They're both lovely. They have your face,'' The queen smiled at us. Gabriella and I smiled back at her.
''Thank you for inviting us. It's been an honor.'' My father remarked.
''Oh no worries, the heart family will always be welcomed,'' The queen remarked.
''Thank you, it has been an honor,'' Mother remarked.
We bid farewell to them, and the queen waved back. We exit through the main doors, both carriages waiting in front of us. I instantly jumped in the carriage, then Gabriella and Issac came after me.
----------------------------------------
We returned home late in the evening, and I stepped out of the carriage and hastily hurried to my room. I stood before my wardrobe, changed into my sleepwear, and lay on the bed. I stared up at my ceiling, and tears started forming. As I fought to hold back, my vision blurred, and more tears poured down my cheeks. I sniffle as the tears on my cheeks start to dry. Then tiredness takes over me as I fall asleep.
