Chapter 25 – Jessica collapsed at work
I spend the day on a high, after this morning with Damon, even Ava’s interruption I feel like I am on a high I have never been on. Life is amazing right now. I need to tell Damon about Santos Deacon King. Our son named after our fathers.
The day is spent at the mock trials. The students present their cases, and I am observing. I am exhausted.
"You look terrible by the way" Becca says sitting beside me.
"Thank you for being an amazing friend Bex" I say sarcastically as I roll my eyes
She laughs. “Do not worry I am only looking out for you. Though you are glowing.” she pauses. “Oh, s**t you’ve got the freshly f****d glow” she whispers shouts in my ear.
I do my best to ignore her.
"Why are you here anyway?" I ask her
