I squinted at the screen waiting for my emails to load. Mid-morning was the perfect time to sit at Coffee and Cakes, it seemed. Cars parked on both sides of the street in front of Susie’s Café. When I glanced in the windows, Lindsay filled coffee mugs from a large carafe and dished out plates loaded with eggs and bacon.
