Chapter 10 Thursday, April 7th LindsayMy alarm went off at the usual time of four A.M. I hit the snooze and tried to talk myself into falling back to sleep for another minute. The alarm rang out five minutes later along with a buzz from my text message notification. –––––––– Debbie: Don’t forget you have two dates this morning! –––––––– How could I forget? On my morning off from Susie’s Café, she had scheduled me for two breakfast dates. Rolling out of bed, I tiptoed across the floor and out into the kitchen, being careful not to wake Mom up.
