Fang's POV
It was eye opening to see Melissa with the people of Blade's pack. I had no idea she could be so free and happy, and it made me feel happy too. The only problem is that she was still not all that happy with me. Sometimes it was like we were friends, she would even laugh with me, and then, something reminded her of our past, and the wall came back down. I told myself many times that it wasn't her fault, it was mine. I had been bad to her, and I had hurt her, I couldn't just demand for her to forget all our past, but I wanted to. When I heard her laugh I wanted to be laughing with her, not to be the one killing her happiness like it sometimes happened when I approached her.
