Fang's POV
I felt like it was a bad idea, but there wasn't much I could do or say about Paul without getting into trouble with Menace. She trusted him, and why wouldn't she? He had been the only one to be by her side and help her when everyone else gave her their backs. From what I knew, he had been the one to train her, help her with her shifting, and even feed her when there was no food available to her. I really got why she trusted him, but I wasn't sure he was the best choice as a Beta. He was too old and weak to fight for his spot, and a weak Beta would weaken her position.
I watched as Paul and Menace greeted each other. Paul was being very respectful and I had to admit it was the right move, Menace needed to maintain her image in front of the enforcers, any show of weakness
