“Are you sure this will work?” Daniel asked impatiently.
The stranger nodded.
“Once Lina steps inside this circle, her power will belong to you.”
Daniel smiled coldly.
“After everything she did to escape me… she will finally understand she belongs to me.”
But far away on the hills, Lina suddenly felt a sharp pain in her chest.
Amani noticed immediately.
“What’s wrong?”
Lina looked toward the town.
“He’s preparing something… something dangerous.”
Amani stood up.
“Then we stop him tonight.”

Amani, Lina, and Kevin arrived at the factory just before midnight.
Thunder rolled across the sky.
Inside, Daniel was waiting.
“I knew you would come,” he said calmly.
Lina stepped forward.

Daniel laughed.

Suddenly the stranger raised his hands and the symbols on the floor began to glow dark red.
