Skyler POV Laying there on that bed was driving her crazy, she wanted to open her eyes, but couldn't, she heard talking, someone was talking on the phone, something about Kris, what the hell is going on with her mate, she made her foot move then she heard him hang up the phone, ten minutes later, her eyes opened, and she was looking up at the ceiling, someone stood beside her, she turned looking at Virgil, smiling wide at him, he smiled but it didn't reach the full amount smile. He sighed softly "Do you need help sitting up,?" She nodded, he helped her sit up on the bed. Fluffing the pillows then putting them behind her, she kept looking around, she felt so much sadness in the room. She was thinking, where was Kris, did he go on patrol, was he out on business, shouldn't he be here, then
