The Game: Enter the Darkness of your mind

Part One: Just a game? Reality Now CHAPTER 7

    The man called, Pyro, went back to the modem and devices.  After urinating, he crawled into the chair and placed the devices on.  The visor strapped into place.  His gloves were on.  The electromagnetic pads used to create pain and discomfort during the game were in place.  He used his fingers on the armrests of the chair to turn the system on.  

    He found himself again in the annex of the waiting room.  Another figure was visible, using the menus to store game information.  Pyro thought it must be the game - master.

    Then something went wrong.  He felt as if he were on fire.  Something was eating him from the inside out.  

     Flames leapt all around his virtual reality body.  His frame burned from head to toe.  He enjoyed the fire and let it fill him up.  He glanced at his companion in the room.  Where fire filled him, ice surrounded the other.  A great crackling could be heard throughout the annex.  Lights flickered as the background of the room transformed.  Many places of the Realm could be seen at once.  Pyro felt the fire l*****g him.  He relished the pain.  Almost real.

    He then, found himself falling.
