" Who said you are not enough for me?" I interrupt her with a growl. Kara seems taken aback by my outburst and she takes a step back.
" What?" she asks, her eyes wide with surprise.
"Who said you are not enough for me? Why do you keep doubting that?" I ask, closing the distance between us. She looks away, not meeting my eyes and my heart breaks at the uncertainty on her face.
" Is this about what happened five years ago when you confessed?" I ask and an uncomfortable expression flashes through her face. I know that I hurt her badly. It was never my intention to do that but someone you just have to do something even when you don't intend to. Even when you know that it will hurt both of you.
