"How's the meeting?" Axel asked.
"Not good.. I didn't take the deal because he's asking us to give him 5% and I know from his explanation and his motive that he will set the quality low for the product. I don't want my company to have a bad reputation." I answered.
"He can't even write a contract. He forgot a lot of things and showed that he's not capable." I said and he nodded.
"Okay then.. Good job." He said, patting my shoulder. I walked towards my office and sat down on my big chair. I opened my phone and dialed someone.
"Afternoon, Hello Mr. Cesborn."
"Harry Natcom.."
"Afternoon sir.. I gave her a 2 weeks break and she's going to Paris with her friends." He said.
"Good.. Just give whatever she asks." I said.
"Yes sir."
"Is she still dating that Leroy?" I asked.
"No, she already broke up like 3 weeks ago."
"Okay good.. She will come back in 2 weeks right?"
"Yes sir.."
"Good." I said and ended the call.
When Irene told me that she's moving to New Zealand.. I was crazy to find out about her. I found out that she was randomly applying for a scholarship for baking school in New Zealand. She didn't expect that she would get the scholarship.
She got it so she needs to stay there for 1 year. Since her classes are all in the morning. She wanted to work so she started to find a job and I asked Harry Natcom.. to recruit her.
I bought all the shares for France's Buffet Restaurant and asked people to keep their eyes and take care of Irene. I already put the France Buffet Restaurant official mine since it's a good income too. It's famous in New Zealand, Australia.. Seattle and SF so it's worth it.
I picked Natcom as someone that I trust to watch on Irene and I'm glad that she's doing great.
I gave her freedom to date and just to explore and learn a lot about baking and things like that even though I'm jealous of the dating another person part but I have to let her go for a while because that's what she's always wanted.
"Joel.." I looked up to see my mom walking towards me.
"Hey mom.."
"We're going to eat lunch together.. wanna join?"
"Yeah sure." I got up from my seat and we walked out together. We all decided to eat steak because me and Axel were quite carving for it. I don't talk a lot when I'm with my family because I have a lot of things going on in my mind.
Paris and Irene..
I remember that she always wants to go there because it's her dream. When we were dating.. we promised that we will go there someday but now we're not together. There's a part of me that I want to go there and see her but there's a part of me that wants to give her time.
I will wait.. for her
Whatever it takes.. I don't care because no one can give me the happiness that I felt when I'm with her.
"You okay?" Joan suddenly asked in a really soft tone which is weird. She likes to burst out everytime so if she's acting like this it means she's weird and someone hit her head.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"Let's talk after this at the office." She said and I raised my eyebrows. We finished eating and apparently mom and dad are going to the mall to shop a little bit and Axel will meeting up with his friends so they left me with my twin alone.
"You okay?"
"You're weird." I said when she asked that.
"At least I need to ask because you're my twin." She said and I sighed.
"Irene?"
"Who else?"
"You already gave her a lot of time.." She suddenly stated and I nodded.
"I know but I don't think it's enough.. She still needs it."
"She's in New Zealand right?"
"She's having a holiday to Paris for 2 weeks now.."
"Go." My eyes shot straight to her eyes and she smiled.
"Go.. Just go there."
"Joan.. I need to gi-"
"Until when.. You already gave her a lot of time and you don't even want to wait anymore." Of course she knows.. She's my twin.
"Joan.. it's not that simple."
"Just go.." She said.
"Don't make me do it for real."
"I want you to go.. just find her. You know how easy it is for us to find someone."
"I don't think she will be happy to see me."
"Try.. you'll never know if you don't try." She said as she got up.
"Book a flight tonight.. Go there and I'll help you find her." She patted my shoulder and I nodded.
"Thanks.. I guess."
"You're welcome twin!" She chuckled and left. I sighed and closed my eyes for a while. My eyes widened when I realized that I didn't bring my phone. I got up and walked out. I saw Joan left and I got into my car.
I drove back to my office and threw my body to the sofa. There's a lot of thoughts in my head right now and everything just all over the place. I got up and walked towards my table. I opened my phone to book a flight since Joan will use our private jet.
My eyes widen when I saw a missed call.. from Irene.
I looked at it and slapped my cheek to check if it's real or not. My breath got hitch and I found myself calling her phone number back. I put my phone to my ear and waited for her to answer.
"Hello.." Gosh.. I miss her
