Chapter 52 – An Unwanted Visitor

“What are you doing here?”
I did not bother to hide my disdain toward the person happily standing in front of me.
Since Dane was carrying Rose, I was left with no choice but to check who disturbed us this early in the morning. However, none of my past experiences were able to prepare me for that person’s identity.
“Nice seeing you again, Daisy. It was a tough job looking for you. Why did you leave without telling your mother? Anyway. How about you offer your mother a drink before we get to business?”
I spared no effort in moving out of the door. The unwanted guest in front of me is none other than my mother, Ayan. I haven’t seen her since she dropped Rose in my care, and not meeting her forever might be the greatest luck of my life.
