“What do you mean by she was transferred somewhere?’”
My mother looked at me dejectedly, unsure of the words to say. I know that it was not her fault, yet I couldn’t help but get mad at the fact that she hid Daisy’s departure from me. I was treated like a child with no right to know the events happening around me.
