“Then, who?”
I cleared my throat as I awaited Daisy’s answer. The light in her eyes had long turned black giving me a sense of unease at the name that she would say.
By any means, there is a voice shouting in my head that I already know who the culprit is. Even so, I brushed it aside to hear the truth from Daisy’s lips. I don’t want to assume and make this mess bigger than necessary. More than anything else, I don’t want to carelessly create a c***k in my relationship with that person.
“Who do you think it is, Dane? Is there any person that you could think of?”
