Chapter 36 – Broken

Slimy as gel, I could feel the texture of Mr. Thomas’ eyeball in my hand.
My fingers fiddled with it until I decided to finally squeeze it in the end. It would have been better if I could gouge the other one, forever sealing Mr. Thomas’ sight. There would be nothing more beautiful than that as my farewell gift of mine.
The crushed eyeball then reminded me of the growing pain on my face. This man’s hands sure are heavy, making that declaration of love as nothing but a complete lie.
It would have been for the best if I could fill my imagination with the suffering that he is enduring right now.
I can’t tell how gruesome our current situation is because of the darkness, however, the sudden change in our situation made me smile like a fool.
