They had been roaming around the entire place for almost two hours. Because of walking non-stop, their legs had gotten tired too. Now they were waiting for their turn on the chairlift to go down.
Their turn was about to come when Hadiya, in a hurry, took such a big sip of the juice in her hand that she couldn't even breathe. Suddenly she felt a strong urge to vomit, because of which all the juice in her mouth came out from both her mouth and nose.
She bent over coughing. Tears came to her eyes. She had ruined Mano's clothes too.
"Sorry... sorry," she said in embarrassment, looking at Mano's ruined clothes.
"Oh, it's okay. There's a washroom right next to it. Let's go change our clothes."
"But I didn't bring a suit."
"I have two. You can wear one."
"Thanks."
Everyone else was barely holding back their laughter at her move.
"Okay then do this. You and Mano go change in the washroom. And Ria, Salar, Joria and I will go in this chairlift. You two come in the next one," Zain said to Mano.
"Okay."
As soon as they left, the others also sat in the chairlift and went.
"Sir, it's your turn now," the staff standing there said five minutes after they left.
"Send someone else for now. We'll go in a little while."
The public washroom was built just two to three minutes away from the chairlift. Both of them looked around. The washroom sign was a little distance away, next to a shop.
"This is the washroom," she said, pointing toward the washroom.
They both walked slowly to the washroom. Both washrooms were empty. They took the washroom ticket and then went to the washroom to change clothes.
Mano was standing outside. When she came out...
"Why did you take so long?" Mano said as soon as she saw her. "This is your size. It wasn't fitting me. I wore it with great difficulty."
"Oh," she said with a laugh. Both of them put the ruined clothes in the same bag from which they had taken out the new clothes.
"Red color suits you a lot."
"Thanks. Let's go now." Mano said to her with a laugh.
On the other side, Majid was checking the time again and again. On top of that, the staff standing there was driving him crazy. "Sir, it's your turn."
Again and again he was looking at the same spot where both of them had gone from here ten minutes ago. He looked there one more time and his eyes got stuck right there.
Both of them were walking slowly toward him. She was wearing a silk shirt and black pants. The shirt was tucked into the pants. She had black heels on her feet. She looked extremely beautiful in that outfit. From her face she looked younger than twenty-two. Black hair, brown eyes, fair skin. She was excessively beautiful.
Majid couldn't take his eyes off her.
"our number has come?" she said as soon as she reached there.
"Majid, I'm talking to you..." they said in surprise, looking at Majid who was lost looking at Mano.
"She's calling you," Mano said to the dazed Majid, pointing toward Hadia .
"Yes yes... what did you say?" He said, shifting his gaze from Mano to Hadiya.
Mano got shy because of his behavior.
"I'm saying our number has come.?"
"Our number came ten minutes ago. Because of you people it got so late. Now we will take the next chairlift."
"How long until the next chairlift comes?"
"It will come in just one or two minutes. Then we'll go down.
Everyone will be waiting for us," Mano said, thinking of something.
__ __ __
It was dark all around. The moon was hidden behind the clouds in the sky. There were a few stars. It was drizzling lightly. Because of the wind, her wet hair started flying in the air. She had been running barefoot on this road for the last fifteen minutes. Her heart was beating so hard that she could hear its sound in her ears.
Because of running non-stop for so long, she had gotten tired. Now her body wasn’t supporting her anymore. She kept turning back to look at the person coming behind her. She wasn’t walking… she was flying. Her speed was much slower compared to the girl, but she was quite close to her.
While looking back and running, a small stone hit her foot, because of which she fell hard on the wet road. Because of the fall, her arm and leg got badly injured. She didn’t even care about her wounds. She wanted to get up again, but the wounds were so deep that she couldn’t get up.
She turned back and looked. She had come very close to her. Long hair, a white suit soaked in blood that had turned red, upside-down feet. Seeing the injured girl fall, she started laughing loudly like a maniac.
"I’m not going to leave you. I’ve come right now to take you with me. I’m going to take you with me."
She was still flying in the air right in front of her.
"Go away. I’m not going with you," she shouted at her. She showed her the knife she was holding in her hand.
"No. Please no. Why do you want to kill me? Please, someone save me." She started begging for help on the empty road, lying on the ground.
As soon as she flew close to her, she slit her throat with the knife.
"No!" She got up screaming loudly.
The girl sleeping next to her woke up startled by her voice. As soon as she got up, she hugged her. She started crying like a child, clinging to her chest.
"Hania, relax. This was just a bad dream." She said, comforting her while wiping her tears, then put her back to sleep.
She often used to wake up at night and cry after having such bad dreams.
